You have every right to be emotional, I’ve never given birth but my sister has had 4 kids and it was a very traumatic experience for all her births with depression and anxiety, giving birth is a very emotional time and you need to recover fully before being a mother but obviously hospitals just throw you out the next day and expect you to just know what to do, it’s awful! Really that hospitals don’t have the ability to look after mothers and babies anymore. 😔
I’m so happy you have so much support from husband , and you and baby are recovering massive hugs and love to you all. 🥰❤️🤗

Its crazy how much we go through for our babies hey? I'm not sure where you live but actually the care here in Australia, in Western Australia in particular is great! They kept me for 3 nights and actually made me stay for the 3rd night when I wanted to go home. and once we go home, we have a midwife come visit us for a whole week and would have continued to visit if baby and I werent coping well and then we have a Child Health Nurse visit as well. We are able to call them anytime with any questions too

an unexpected c-section sounds terrifying, glad to know you and baby are doing okay now!! will you make a video on your postpartum experience/c-section recovery?

Yeah it was defs terrifying with my first but this pregnancy I already knew I was having a c section. It’s just I wasn’t planning on going under general anaesthetic which was hard for us to accept but knew it was the right thing to do 💔 yes I was suppose to film it last week but been slack 😂 hopefully this week I can find the motivation to film it x

me too! Idrus and I are not the type to be confrontational so we wouldnt have said anything ourselves. Or maybe Idrus would have said something eventually. Either way, everything worked out

Salams sis, I’ve been diagnosed with placenta praevia with possible accreta, your story has helped with my anxiety. I’ve given birth naturally to my three children but am expected to have my first c section with my fourth. I’m currently 34 weeks and have an ultrasound to check the placenta again in the next few days. Just wondering, I’m located in Perth as well and wanted to know which hospital you had your c section at?

im so sorry that you're going through this. especially having possible accreta. that one frightened me. I'm so glad that my story has helped relieve your anxiety and I only pray that you have a successful rest of your pregnancy and make it safely to your scheduled c section. i had my c section at fiona stanley

@@MichaelaDaCosta1991 how was you experience at Fiona Stanley? I’ve given birth at king edwards and would have loved to have been transferred there but due to location have to have it down in Fiona. And I’ve heard scary stories about Fiona. Doesn’t help stressing over previa and nervous about the hospital at the same time. How was their care?
