The machine is used for making veneers from primarily soft wood such as poplar wood, it is also possible to peel some harder wood such as birch but not harder than that. softwood veneer is cut to certain dimensions in order to obtain elements for the production of wooden crates of various dimensions and purposes in fruit and vegetable growing and for the purpose of packaging the aforementioned products. The machine has three three-phase electric motors, one motor serves to turn the log of wood (the main motor is also the strongest and the desired power is min. 7kw), the second motor starts, i.e. brings the knife over the spindle to the log that is already turning (this motor can be 1.5kw and it is controlled via the frequency regulator due to the regulation of the rotation speed, the higher the engine speed, the faster the knife approaches the log and thus the thickness of the veneer increases) and the third motor has a power of 2kw and is only used for clamping the log of wood (this motor starts the hydraulic pump and oil cylinder with a thrust of 5t). The machine has an oil tank that serves only for clamping wood logs.
