For anyone wondering, basalt rock contain titanium, thus making basalt rock based exhaust wraps "titanium" wraps.

I'd imagine the dei has "better" results. But I cant justify paying 130.00 vs 30 for the cheap stuff. I mean if I have to replace it I'm still only down 60 dollars. That leaves 70 dollars that can be spent on other mods. They both claim heat reduction to 1800 degrees and 2500 degrees so they are very close in application results.

This was (almost) EXACTLY the video I was looking for! Although, you said at the end the DEI stuff is different to wrap with, but you didn't say how much better, or if it was worth the extra. I'm looking for something that has less, or no fibreglass in it, because it's a PITA and gets everywhere.

To get those steel zip ties as tight as possible, pull them tight then as youre holding it take a nail and push the ball bearing locking mechanism to lock it in the tightest position. If you dont then it loosens a bit due to the design of the zip tie locking mechanism.

Showed us two different products but didn't test against each other with a heat tester and showing us with video proof that the product works better than the cheap stuff.
This would have been a fantastic video if you showed us which one performs better.

You add more detail on how to differentiate fiber glass or fake one. Give you an example while cutting the wrap you can notice the sound and the feels while cutting using scissor. That all bruh.. I come to support 🤝

always start the wrap of the frayed end with the 45 degree fold. then wrap around. wont come frayed once zip tied.

Personally I would have painted the pipe with high temp paint first let it cure, then wrapped it & again used silicon heat resistant paint to prevent water ingress. Good video though!

Frays are separated a LOT easier. Besides, If you're wrapping headers you're probably an enthusiast. So why not go with the trusted name brand when the price isn't that much more. I'd rather pay more for guaranteed performance than waste time and money on hoping something cheaper is as good. That's just how I feel
