CDs are for real amazing for road trippers. The constant struggle to stream music in bad service areas or find radio stations in the middle of nowhere makes a several-hours-long trip draaaagggg
Yep! Also good for those who live in rural/semi-rural areas with spotty cell service. I can borrow a CD from a friend, or buy it, rip it into MP3 on my PC, then load it onto my phone and I always have my collection of many thousands of MP3's for road trips, cell service holes, or if my streaming stations are not playing anything good. Another good one is a Bluetooth to FM adapter for cig lighter/power port in your vehicle. You connect your phone to the adapter via BT, and it then broadcasts the signal on a FM station of your choice. You tune your car radio into said FM station and then play your phone music (be it MP3's or streaming) through your car speakers, for those with good sound systems. The adapter I have lets you play your music through BT, or a 3.5mm jack, or even through a USB port. It has controls to play/pause and skip forward and back so you can play/pause/skip songs without touching your phone. It even has a mic and phone controls to also serve as a car speakerphone, and 2 USB charging ports for charging. It's fantastic! I paid all of $10 for it. We can't all have the latest and greatest toys, so it's good to know ways to adapt!

Used to work at a Love's truck stop a long time ago and there was this one guy that came in to fuel up on my shift about twice a week. One day he asks me to recommend a good rock cd that we sold because he knew almost nothing about rock, so I recommended Van Halen's Diver Down. I figured it was a good enough mix of heavy stuff and not-so-heavy stuff that it could please anyone. He came back a week later, told me he hated it and gave me the CD. I still have it.

I am a trucker and absolutely LOVES this skit!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for your work, and good to know that you personally have the maturity and character to be able to laugh at yourself. To be able to see the funny in some of the things we all do.
"Who still buys cds?"
Me, who collects cds and cassettes.
I have never bought a physical copy of music. I’m 23
This is one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen. He really commits to all the sketches and the writing is absurd.
you can see andrew see himself on screen and quickly react to how ridiculous he looks at 1:43 xD
I love this so much
Looks like he and Cecily shared a moment there... super cute
As a longtime Midwesterner, I’m deeply offended! And laughing my a$$ off! Can’t tell you how many times I find urine bottles on the side of the highway!
FYI, this is four times Cecily got to sing this week!
Beastie Boys "Hello Nasty"
I love that album.
omg Darlene Cuisine and Little Picky Dickens!😂
Cecily’s hair!
Melissa as El Chapo just made my day
It's either the weed or the comedy is just on point tonight! I'm giggling over here
It's the weed.
Its definitely the weed.
The harmonies on El Chapo we're unironically beautiful
Aidy eerily resembles Large Marge in this skit
😳😱🤣
Melissa cracking up when Aidy sneaks in front of the truck 💓
Aaaaand now I have ghost trucker in my head.
Jake deserves a VMA award! Also a Grammy award for best performance! This is comedy GOLD!!
So many certified trucker bangers
As a trucker I approve of the accuracy of this skit most especially don't go forgetting.
Jake managed to get a lot of songs in one episode
I didn’t doubt him for a minute. Jake Slade every one of the roles he was in for this episode. Guests like him really make me appreciate SNL all the more these days
Did you mean “slayed”? lol
I’m a truck driver and owner/operator. Thank you for this. 🙂
Thanks for what you do.
I was one of those kids that wanted the truckers to blow their horns. And most of the time they did add a smile.
It makes my day when I can do it for them.
HOW is Dismukes ALWAYS adorable?! I'm crushing so hard!
Are you 15?
@@valerie2827 Andrew Dismukes is 26 years old. No reason to think OP is 15. But if they are who cares.
That's a very good R.E.M. album on that rack...
That's actually a pretty good CD selection. Tricky, Beastie Boys and that Robert Fripp & Davil Sylvian album is one of my favourites.
Right? I'm like, oh wait, there's HELLO NASTY....
The First Day is a masterpiece, I was so happy to see that there lol
Writing was spot-on this episode, and Jake Gyllenhaal was a fantastic host ! LOL
I've heard the word "truck" too many times now idk if its real anymore
It's not.
So true!!😂 Truck stops really look like that!
Being a trucker this Is accurate and has my crying laughing.
The singers have very nice voice and sung those songs very professionally.
Aidy's hair/ outfit is spot on.
Jake Gyllenhaal has a surprisingly pleasant singing voice..
I was thinking the same thing
This feels like a Will Forte sketch in the best possible way!!!
I love this!!! As someone from Ohio who is surrounded by songs/truck stops like this, I can attest to the authenticity.
It’s fantastic that the cd rack seems to be almost entirely truck-themed collection albums with just one copy of the Beastie Boys’ Hello Nasty
A trucker myself, I'm currently parked at a Loves right now. 🤣🤣 good to see us drivers getting some cred. (Sort of...)
People need to appreciate truckers for sure.
Thanks for your work. It's good to be able to laugh at ourselves every now and then, it keeps you grounded.
"Truck You! You Trucking Truck!" . . . that was just priceless.
Jeez...I drove a dump truck for a few months after I graduated from high school. I saw a dude climbing out of the back of his truck....his sleeves were torn off his shirt. I asked him what happened....he said he needed something to wipe with. True story.
People that like quality music instead of compressed mp3's
The songs and delivery was so funny! But Aidy was bloody hilarious! 😂😂
Flamin hot and pee cups are a big part of the trucker lifestyle
To those non Americans watching:
"My other car is a gun" isn't a joke. We ACTUALLY have people with bumper stickers like this.
Yes we are a primitive group.
Hahaha....yup thank God not only the police and government have them...or we would all really be slaves to whatever idiots happen to control congress! Look at Canada! Treats truckers like, well, the hired help. When here we remind them that THEY are hired by US.
This tune is called "shitting in a bag"
My cousin was a trucker with her husband for 35 years. They really enjoyed their work. 🎶🎵🙂🚛🚚🚧
okay but this would end up in my spotify wrapped fs 💀💀💀
