I would just like to say that it's true that blessed be isn't used by only those who practice Wicca or witchcraft. Also even if your mother does practice that automatically does no mean that you are a witch or ever have to be. Being a part of Wicca and witchcraft is a choice, but it is wonderful if Wicca and witchcraft is something that you are interested in that your mother practices. That means you have a direct line to the craft and someone to go to to help you start on your own journey, you are very lucky and blessed in that way.

Wicca is more about a belief or a religion where you adhere to the three fold law - whatever energy you send comes back to you threefold. This is the major concept that shapes the Wiccan belief and the reason why Wiccans don’t curse. Witchcraft on the other hand is more based on the term “practice”. You really don’t have much of a rule here which makes every witch’s journey more different than other people’s. I personally believe that witchcraft is entirely about how you want to use magick, what you want, what you believe, and how you manipulate energy. And the three fold law does not apply to those who practice witchcraft.
