One day i saw a post on fb it was a picture of Hekate i didn't read the comments and i didn't research nothing about her but i really liked this name Hekate. One day later at 3 in the night I couldn't sleep, i was standing in my bed with my eyes closed and idk why but i said Hekate in my mind and after that, a biiig moon appeared in front of my eyes, the moon was so real that i cant explain. It was like i was there in the sky watching the moon face to face lol. Then i opened my eyes and i was like omggg what was that.. then i colse my eyes again and i saw an owl. I used to be wiccan. Christian now though. I studied under an older couple who been in it a long time. They had me reading a lot of old books. You need to learn a lot of other stuff before you go trying to cast spells and magic. A lot of fake people claiming to be wiccan not really wiccan. I learned enough to stay away from it long before becoming a Christian. Not telling anyone what to do. There is more power in The name Jesus than in wiccan. Gifts from God are free. Shes not made out to be evil, but she embodies the shadow self which many people would think of as 'evil' and is why so many people repress it; it's also why shadow work is so important. Without evil there can be no good. Without darkness there cannot be light. Hecate is a goddess who wants us to embrace the shadow self and integrate it into our consciousness and be whole. She isnt just a love and light goddess. She holds the keys to the heavens the seas and the underworld. She is everything. That may be why there may be a more "sinister" feel so other music. Because we embrace the good AND the bad in ourselves and life.

I have recently came to Wicca and learning all I can and I've always liked the moon and stars as they shone through the night sky; and how the moon consistently changes looking at it now that I'm an adult I see that change is necessary(not always comfortable) for us to grow, and thr changes I've been through over the past couple months is Idk what else to call it other then magical, I'm stopping a lot of my bad habits that I had since I was a kid. all in all I'm just a new better version of myself and I'm loving it, I now live when I used to just exist. I just found this goddess on Halloween night when I was looking for a chant. I chanted to her and felt an amazing sense of relief. I feel like a new person. One of strength and renewed power that had been robbed from me by so many people throughout my life. Then I read about her and thought she is a goddess I could relate to. I used to be wiccan. Christian now though. I studied under an older couple who been in it a long time. They had me reading a lot of old books. You need to learn a lot of other stuff before you go trying to cast spells and magic. A lot of fake people claiming to be wiccan not really wiccan. I learned enough to stay away from it long before becoming a Christian. Not telling anyone what to do. There is more power in The name Jesus than in wiccan. Gifts from God are free. In the craft they come with a price you won't want to pay. And you will pay. ;-) peace

Shes not made out to be evil, but she embodies the shadow self which many people would think of as 'evil' and is why so many people repress it; it's also why shadow work is so important. Without evil there can be no good. Without darkness there cannot be light. Hecate is a goddess who wants us to embrace the shadow self and integrate it into our consciousness and be whole. She isnt just a love and light goddess. She holds the keys to the heavens the seas and the underworld. She is everything. That may be why there may be a more "sinister" feel so other music. Because we embrace the good AND the bad in ourselves and life.
