I’m having a difficult time figuring out how to securely mount the X3 on the back of my mountain bike with a selfie stick they can survive significant impacts.

Main problem with go3s is that you cant reframe and you cant rotate the image as you can previously do with the Go2. Shame, becouse its a pretty good camera
For wearability, weight matters. I can tell the difference between a 126g Hero8 Black and a 154g Hero11 black with lots of diffrrence, so imagine how weightless 35g will feel for wearability. The Hero11 black gets fatiguing when wearing it, so I’m interested in a go 3. Also, I’d like to do cooking videos, but attaching the goPro magnetically to the stove hood is not strong enough due to the heavy camera. So the magnetic back of the go 3 will make it easier due to there being no mount, as well as the weight being able to stay on. I also plan on using the camera for hot wheels cars.
The Go3 wins if you need a camera that will fit into a really small space, or attach to a hat/helmet, or be more durable than the X3. Horses for courses.

Let see if that gets put out there like a go pro see if it hangs in the durability
Accidentally smashed it with a skateboard yesterday. It Totally trashed the lens filter, which I’m glad it has! Swapped out the lens filter and went straight back to shooting and everything’s fine. I’m not going to purposefully do a smash test on it to compare to the GoPro but it’s not bad. the charging case is what I would be more worried about breaking which I keep safe in my pocket while the camera does the dangerous work.

I am conflicted. Most of the shots can be achieved with an x3. Other than sticking the camera on my cat, I don't think it's needed.

That is in free frame mode. You can use the Insta360 app or computer program to create key frames and rotate the field of view.
