Just found your channel. I love that you’re not afraid to show a loss on camera. It makes it feel like a more genuine gameplay sample.
Thanks for doing these videos, especially since you seem to enjoy the same type of games I do.
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoy my videos. Just coming back from hiatus now, look forward to some new videos soon!
I really want to try this one out! Thanks for the video :) just subscribed!
Thanks for the subscription! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice! This game really looks fun...I definitely need to get in on the action.
If you do TTS, there's a really good officially supported scripted mod if you want to try it out.
Great video! Thank you :)
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Great vid, I am late to the party (as always) and also this game sticks out from my collection of dungeon crawlers and theme however it has this great "one more turn" syndrome. With 2 core boxes they give us so many heroes/bosses to choose from. Well done.
Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for the comment! It's been a while since I've played this one, but agree that it's a lot of fun, and definitely one you can't just play once when you get it out.
Great playthrough and great review. New subscriber. I ordered mine today and will use coin capsules on cardboard tokens. Like the feel of those capsules on the tokens. My Arkham LCG uses them (and many other games)..
Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the subscription! I'm on hiatus for a bit after the birth of my daughter, but hope to be back to making videos by the end of the year.
This was a great overview and play through. I like one stop coop shop but sometimes Mike’s too fast for me to learn a game. Your pace was just right! Subscribing
Glad I could help! As both a fan and friend of Mike from OSCS, I know just how much he likes to edit down to the essentials, and I can understand how that might not be for everyone, so I'm glady video was able to help. Unfortunately, I'm taking a bit of a hiatus after the birth of my daughter, but I hope you enjoy the videos I've got up so far, and I hope to be back before too long!
These bosses are so hard lol. I hope you do well
At 15:04, wouldn't you have only moved that one space because the first space was occupied, causing you to skip over it?
Also I thought you said that any bullets on the sight will be removed if you destroyed a shield, but at 16:37, all of it just remained?
You can't just jump, you need to pay for the space you are skipping.
Also, your sight doesn't clear. Any extra bullets left on the boss's board after breaking the shield are cleared, so if you break a shield, but don't have enough to break another, the extra bullets are lost.
@@PurpleMoosePlays ah I see. Thank you for the clarifications.
How do you buy the upgrade tiles.are those used in multiplayer only
Right, those are for the multiplayer game. There are also some ability tiles that are only used in teams as well.
so you got the deluxe with the wooden tokens. That is available nowhere. I don't know how many tokens there are, I guess a multiple of 5x5, say 100 tokens. These tokens are completely randomly drawn.
But even without redraw, drawing in solo, it's too random.
Sorry, this was just the standard version with punchboard tokens in the video. And the manipulation of random draws is sort of the whole point of the game.
@@PurpleMoosePlays I do appreciate the manipulation, and there's no discussion about that.
But what you draw is the problem. The draw makes or breaks your game, (assuming a certain basic skill level), nothing you can do about the draw sequence.
Even worse, the events are immediate - you have to place the disk you drew, no tableau of any kind.
It looks flashy and attractive, but that doesn't make it a good game. You can't mitigate what you have to place. It's part of the bullet hell theme I guess, and I don't see a way to improve it without a major overhaul of the game board.
Question on the skills to the right = I guess you earn a kind of XP that you can spend to put a sticker on it, say like Dragon Fire / Cross Fire?
