EARTH BENDER I think I can do without the stories, personally. These videos badly need proper scripting and editing down. (1) Oh, your daughter loves white chocolate? I really don't care, it doesn't relate to this recipe. (2) Whipping for 30-40 sec may be too much, but you "don't know"? Seriously, either know the answer before you make the video or don't bring it up. (3) So much up-talking throughout the video. Are you asking me or telling me?
I made brownies day before yesterday and used 1 cup of m&m’s instead of chocolate chips, I’ve also used butterscotch chips which is also a nice addition!! Enjoyed your video!
Dutch process cocoa may be darker in color but it is not richer in flavor. In fact, the opposite is true. Natural cocoa powder has a deeper chocolate flavor because it hasn't been processed with alkali. I no longer use dutch process because I always had to add other ingredients to enrich the chocolate flavor.
helpfulnatural I think it was the regular cocoa powder that she said had "a nice rich flavour". To be more exact she said, "It'll probably be a bit lighter [in colour], but still has a nice, rich flavour." You can check at 1:00 if you'd like. I'm not saying this to insult you in any way, but just reconfirming Sarah Carey's knowledge in baking 😊👍
8 ounces semi sweet chocolate 1 stick unsalted butter, melted with chocolate over boiling water Mix dry ingredients: 1 cup all purpose flour, 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 1/4 cups of sugar, mixed into the melted butter/chocolate. 3 large eggs on that same melt mix, whisk thoroughly Add dry ingredients Once thoroughly mixed, add chocolate chips or anything else one plans to add Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
Could you use dark chocolate coco powder in this, if it’s not too dark, like Hershey’s Special Dark coco powder? (I’m going to try these as soon as I can!)
I prefer not to add the chocolate chips. Does that change the recipe in a negative way? Do I need to add more cocoa or sugar? Thank you for your response(s)!
Well then my phone is wrong....google that is. :/ I don't know why popular cooking channels like this one can't just mention the measurements in both systems while making the recipe. It wouldn't take any more time to be more accommodating.
How about a recipe for brownies made with sweet potatoes! Had these delicious sweet potato brownies from a health food store. The ingredients were sweet potatoes, oat flour, cocoa powder, almond butter, cane sugar, chocolate chips, vanilla, backing soda, dusted with powdered sugar on top.
Just a side comment: it's great to see you in such a cheerful setting - the usual stainless steel/industrial -type kitchen is a bit dreary. This adds to the feel of the video, in my opinion :-)
I add a whole bag of chocolate chips to my brownie batter that goes into a 9 x 9 pan, but admittedly they really come out more like candy than brownies
Not sure why but I don't like the taste of white chocolate. These look yummy! I have a very old Cocoa Powder can with the original 'honey bear brownies' recipe on it, actually very good brownie!
It's amazing I will try this tomorrow have a nice day, always put god on your heart 💞😇 (sorry if i am wrong grammar English is not my first language I'M ASIAN) I just want to inspire people 💞 -XOXO
why 50 min ? 20 min is enough.. I made it but I dont have a lot of ingredients so I just did my own version using just 3 eggs and used chocolate powder and chocolate chunks only one small bar for decorating.. I love it its nice for a homemade but i cant get over the smell of butter its too strong.
I love Sarah. She keeps the videos real, light, and fun, while making something delicious and telling cute stories.

You can use half of both then or in a 6:4 ratio (where natural is 6) for a deeper taste
But if I use only natural cocoa powder, I don't need to add anything else to enrich the flavor. :)

Excellent looking brownies Sarah.......thanks for the parchment paper tip :)
I love your recipes....
Not a big dessert person...but I've GOT TO try this! Love that I don't need a stand mixer for this; simplicity is wonderful.
I've been searching for a new brownie recipe & this looks like a winner! I can't wait to try it! TFS!!
It's amazing... great video ! 😀
Sarah, I could never get mad at you.
It’s the best actually!
I love the look of those brownies and may make some myself at home.
Anything with chocolate is my favorite❤

OMG! I loved, Sarah! KEEP with these awsome videos. XOXO
Looks incredibly delicious!
Can we use brown sugar?
Hi Sarah, I been wondering what brand is that spatula and where can you find them? Thank you.
Could you use dark chocolate coco powder in this, if it’s not too dark, like Hershey’s Special Dark coco powder? (I’m going to try these as soon as I can!)
Sarah you are brave wearing white today while baking with cocoa powder ! 💕
She wears a white t-shirt all the time. There probably are some disasters but they most likely get edited out of the final video. :)
helpfulnatural yes you are probably correct ☺
Yummy!!
I prefer not to add the chocolate chips. Does that change the recipe in a negative way? Do I need to add more cocoa or sugar? Thank you for your response(s)!
Rita Jones you can either leave them out, or replace them with nuts, butterscotch or peanut chips!
On
Beautiful and yummy.
Michaela is probably watching this video all like "....white chocolate tastes good though... 😳"
the hardest part of the recipe is to turn tbsp/cups into grams.
god, I hate measurements by volume so much
1 Tablespoon = 15 ml 1 cup = 237 ml
helpfulnatural one cup is 240ml I guess
Well then my phone is wrong....google that is. :/ I don't know why popular cooking channels like this one can't just mention the measurements in both systems while making the recipe. It wouldn't take any more time to be more accommodating.
helpfulnatural yea I wished that too

Beautiful brownies and dang she's having a great hair day
Yum!
miamii thanks for the recipe
I agree. White chocolate is not chocolate!
Edward Hannah still tastes perfect 😍
How much time does it take cool down coz i bake them and then keep it for sometime but my brownies stick to the parchment paper!!!!
Mariyam memon they were not fully cooked yet.
Laura B.A. ok thanks will try again
Just a side comment: it's great to see you in such a cheerful setting - the usual stainless steel/industrial -type kitchen is a bit dreary. This adds to the feel of the video, in my opinion :-)
I think the most difficult part of this recipe will be figuring out the math to get 2 inch squares from a 9 inch pan. 😁
Probably for the same reason I don't either---it has no distinct flavor aside from its sweetness. Smooth texture, lovely color though.
Because it has NO COCOA in it!! Blasphemous
Hey please please make spicy alfredo pasta
I know Sarah is using excellent ingredients, but I really prefer to use basic cocoa. I'm guessing I can. I suspect the texture will be different.
Yammiiiiii
*Moist*
It's amazing
I will try this tomorrow
have a nice day, always put god on your heart 💞😇 (sorry if i am wrong grammar English is not my first language I'M ASIAN)
I just want to inspire people 💞

Fresh_Water it's delicious btw thanks everyday food for wonderful recipe💞😊
who else is watching this while trying to watching their calories? xD
Where's Lindsay?
DeReC DR She shows up on Fridays, I think.
1:43-- you look to be really in a hurry!!! :)
I like nuts with chocolate.
why 50 min ? 20 min is enough.. I made it but I dont have a lot of ingredients so I just did my own version using just 3 eggs and used chocolate powder and chocolate chunks only one small bar for decorating.. I love it its nice for a homemade but i cant get over the smell of butter its too strong.
I don't believe in white chocolatte 😂😂😂😂😂
Why so much eyes Sarah?
*MOIST*
Why did she need an extra bowl to crack the eggs in... seems unnecessary to me
Rose • in case egg was bad. You don't want to ruin all those ingredients by putting in a bad egg. Its basic baking practice
Because one bad egg will ruin the whole thing!
Oh... yet another dessert. How surprising.
how bout you guys?
