Hoping in the next few months to begin releasing some workshop/build vids for it, and then eventually get back to the home cockpit flight vids too! Hope you'll stick around!🤘
Quick question, what are you using for the checklist that was talking to you? @@skytation
So here was the process I used to create that: First I went through a bunch of C700 checklists...ones from the sim, real world ones, etc, and then created my own list of items. Then, I typed them all out and then put them through an AI text to speech generator and recorded each one. From there, I went into my stream deck and created a checklist page that categorized them all (cockpit, engine, shutdown, etc) and then created a button for each item on the stream deck that when pressed would trigger the sound recording for that item. @@skytationThat’s what I thought you did. I actually started doing the same thing! What a long process! I have it where the checklist goes green when pressed but it stays that way. Any way you found out how to make the button change back?
Nice, yeah I had mine go to a checkmark image. I just cleared mine by pressing the button again and it goes back, but there may be automated ways to do it after a certain amount of time has passed, I didn't look into it too much further. I was just ok with pushing mine again to reset it back to normal/unchecked.@@PastMyPrimeRacing

Hi! Cool channel! How did you manage to hide the cockpit on the front screen but leave the wings showing on the side windows?
Hi, thanks! I just clipped out the front of the cockpit towards the nose until it was no longer visible. You need to have a livery with collision borders removed, though.... or you can edit the core camera config file to change the settings so it'll change the camera location. There's lots of vids on TH-cam showing how to do that I believe.
Have you thought about linking your yolks with cables so that they move together?
Yep, v2 of the cockpit will feature fully DIY yokes I’m currently designing that’ll be more scale to the Longitude and that will also be linked and move together🤘

Hello, first of all I have to say that your homecockpit is just great. But I'm interested in one thing, how did you make the window frames left side and right side window? I mean the ones that are slightly slanted, is that filled? Thanks for the info...really outstanding....
The bezels are 3D printed. The panel itself is 1/2” MDF, and then I designed the window frame/bezels in fusion 360 and printed them out in parts, then glued them all together inside an opening I cut in the mdf. Then just filled all the seams, sanded, and painted so it looked like one unit. I have the print files for the window frame on my discord.🤘

was it just me but did you say FL 70 when FL begins at 18000 ft so he basically just said climb to 70000 ft
Transition altitude over there is (usually) 7000ft, so that’s where flight levels begin. Took me a second too when he first said it 😂
