The problem I have with Dior Sauvage is that too many people wear it. When I was in college I’m pretty sure 60-80% of the men in the college of business wore it. People are amazed when I walk by and can say “you’re wearing Sauvage” but it’s just so common now. It’s a great fragrance in terms of smell and performance but as I assume with everyone here, i prefer to not smell like every other guy who doesn’t know about colognes

Y’all hypebeasting smells now 🤦🏾♂️... if it smells good & you like it, wear it, simple. Get multiple fragrances and switch it up, just make sure you always smell good and it won’t matter. Sauvage still gets compliments & “you smell so good, what is that?” in July 2019, not every girl is a scent guru 😆
I've never gotten a compliment from any of Dior's brands. It's always Azzaro or Monte Blanc brands.

Nino Brown, individually as a general rule that's right but one person giving others advice or insight then it has to go beyond just that, right? I would never recommend Sauvage. That doesn't mean I don't think it's a good fragrance or that it wouldn't get compliments. Because it is and it will (though personally not a fan of the synthetic quality). But it's waaaaaaayyyyy too popular that it removes the uniqueness attached to that smell and they will immediately associate it with other things. And that uniqueness also translates in how you the wearer feels. It's not all about the compliments.

I agree with Jeremy with his music industry comparison but as he mentioned, every once in a while a single gets hate from the fans and critics but there's also an audience that love that song and can become a 'cult' hit. To me a 'cult' hit is Dior Homme Eau, I freaking LOVE Homme Eau and I really enjoy Dior Homme Sport too
I have the Luna Rossa eau de toilette from Prada and i actually get compliments a lot from girls. My girl absolutly loves it when i wear it.

In the last year I grown to really appreciate what Christian Dior does. I know the change of Dior homme has not been popular. Yet I still love both the 2020 and the earlier versions. So much so that I have 3 bottles of 2020. 2 of Dior Intense from 2017 batches. I figure that I can layer my awesome Prada homme over Dior 2020 if I want that iris note back. I’m still trying to figure out what exactly is in both these Dior that make me want to smell it all the time. Currently their is only about 6 fragrances that have such and extreme effect on me. Could it be the Vetiver? The Patchouli, Amber, leather, cacao? I really am not certain and would like to know.
I got Prada Lunna Rossa Carbon as Birthday gift yesterday. And wow I love it! I have Dior Sauvage. But this Prada does smell too similar but with a twist. It’s so good.

I’m really surprised you say Dior homme eau doesn’t get a lot of compliments. I ALWAYS receive compliments from men and women. Girls get turned on by it, men want it, people always ask what I’m wearing. It’s an absolute best in my opinion and my heart is broken since they discontinued it

Luna Rossa Carbon is so smooth and has much elegant vibes than the other one with the harsh smell.
I almost always use channel allure home sport eau extreme in summer. And it's a summer champion in my opinion

@@inadequis6132 yes. I love it too. But it seems a little heavy ( i dont know if i can say that about a perfum ) allure eau extreme seems fresher (with citrus note) and is longer lasting.
There is also lacoste essential try it if you love fresh and citrus fragrance. You wont regrete it

Jeremy hab mir damals den Versace Dylan Blue geholt, war nicht schlecht aber nicht sooo der Burner. Hält nicht lange und ist auch nicht so stark. Falls du mein Kommentar lesen solltest, welches Parfüm würdest du mir empfehlen? Soll megastark und sehr lange halten.

I love prada luna rossa sport becuase i can use it for casual wear, or for a night out. I like the smell and my freinds (yes im including girls) like the smell. Yes it may not be the "OMG ITS SOOO GOOD" type of fragrance, but it isn't bad either. I honestly believe if you like that colonge, then wear it :)

Overall I agree with the list but one, Dior Homme Eau is fantastic and would not be replaced by Savage (I have both) however the Prada suggestion is also very good.

I've tried the Luna Rossa series and they are the equivalent of those fragrances you mention but with an elegant vibe to them. In my opinion Luna Rossa carbon is better smelling than savage which has this spicy note that can annoy at times... Girls give me compliments very often as well.

For me, one of my favourite fragrances is part of the Prada Luna Rossa series and that is Carbon. I have had many compliments from it. I also have Luna Rossa Black, however it's no where near as nice as Carbon.

Totally agree with your assessments & critiques. Jeremy you save me $ by not getting clunkers - but true performance scents that smell great & get compliments. G.A. aqua de gio Porfumo deffinatly is top of food chain. Many scents i can't wear, as they're Not me & don't feel comfortable in them. I'm deff the more fresh, clean, mature, sport, citrus-summer-water type. Have G.P.G le male intense- hardly wear it, just too cubby Too Much for what I do, where I go, & my audience-- for example.
Jeremy 100% correct on this topic. I allready got bored a little even by the Prada L´Homme - sold it after using only 15 ml - I still like it, just don´t love as I did in the beginning (but the ladies really do like it).

Dior Sauvage is a compliment bomb for me. I wear Chanel Bleu, Boss Bottled Intense, Chanel Allure Sport and Paco Rabbanne Invictus, and none get close to the level of compliments that Sauvage EDT receives for me. I think it just suits my body smell and therefore gives off that extra something. I still wear other scents because I like them, but if it works for you then don't not wear it because people say it's popular?? In my experience, not many men wear fragrances in the UK.

I love the Hugo Boss sport so much! I dont know why they discontinued it. Do u know which other perfume pr eau de toilette has a similar smell?
I have about 50+ fragrances. Watch your vids all the time. The only criticism I have is, you are saying not to buy PRADA Luna Rosa colognes, but you have put them in your top 10 lists many times. Currently my favorite is John Varvatos Artisan Pure. I also love Guerlain L’Homme Ideal.
He has specifically put Luna Rosa Carbon in his list which is fantastic but, Dior Sauvage last longer. price wise (Prada Carbon) no question. But.. he is making a great point

I have the parfum and edt. They both last long . Of course the parfum lasts longer.
The one cologne I don’t recommend to buy from the Prada Luna line is Prada Luna Rosa black, it’s long lasting, but smells very similar to the original Armani code. Has that baby powder scent to it.

Some of these are the biggest and most popular selling fragrances. Boss Bottled is a classic winter fragrance and nothing, not even the extreme comes close. It's not been over bought or used like 1 million. Unlike 1 million, spotty teenagers aren't wearing it and it's a shame as 1 million is an outstanding smell. You just feel almost embarrassed wearing it.
Prada Luna Rossa is one of my most complimented fragrances! Surprised to see it on the list.
