I like when they say whether they think it's a masculine or feminine smell...or smells like grandpa (or grandma).....or "unisex".....I've been misled on colognes before where a guy on the street asks women what they think,.... they all love it, and it turns out that it smells like women's perfume. I don't want the forklift operator giggling at me and telling me I smell pretty.
@@garypierce7380 Remember that your personal body chemistry plays a huge role in how the overall scent will end up being perceived. There are women's fragrances in the oriental or chypre category that I think men can easily pull off. Of course, a straight up cotton candy scent on a man will get some weird looks lol but I'm talking more complex fragrances than that.
@@garypierce7380 I'll have to give you the literal translation to these comments lol. These days everyone love fragrances to be sweet or overly sweet. If they say it's masculine, it means it's like a boys scent. If they say grandpa, it's a traditional masculine scent

I’d like to add to these blind reviews a segment at the end where Teddy/Courtney giving some closing remarks…. How they’d describe each fragrance, and comment on what the girls might have been reacting to when they gave their reviews. For one fragrance one girl says it smells fresh and clean and another girl says she thinks it smells floral, another says it smells like old man. Having Teddy come back in to tie it all together and wrap things up would help.
I've just watched all of your "react" videos and I came to the following conclusions: 1- As a general rule, women tend to prefer fresh/slightly sweet fragrances. 2- More expensive =/= better. 3- Fragheads are some of the most oversensitive people out there. It just takes one person rejecting their "manly" fragrances and they get instantly triggered. 4- If you want to be perceived as a "good smelling guy", don't trust all of those "frag gurus" out there. Also, compliments are extremely rare outside of your close circle, don't expect people hanging from your neck telling you how good you smell as those youtubers make it looks like.
I'll be honest, fragheads (and I am one) tend to turn noses at popular smells, just because they are popular. Most fragheads turn their noses at Nautica Voyage, but it's probably the most popular smell in any blind test with the general public (men and women included). The fragheads like niche, projecting fragrances that tend to be opposed by the general public.
3:47 I have been using Hugo Boss Hugo Man for a couple of months and I am already about to empty my second bottle definitely gonna buy the third one. I completely agree with what the GIRL IN LEATHER JACKET said, it's a manly fresh smell it's very classy as well, it smells expensive I have used perfumes like Sauvage, Aventus, Viking, Ganymede and Hugo Man smells as if it belongs to that price category. I bought Nautica Voyage because of Gabs reaction to it. Thanks. To be fair she was spot on, except for that "compensating" part. Or am I...? Dammit now I need to re-examine my life.
I bought that after watching several reviews....right away I thought it smelled like perfume. I gave it to my daughter-in-law and ordered a big bottle of Nautica Blue. Luckily Voyage Perfume was only twenty bucks. Hopefully they can figure out how to give Blue some staying power.
I bought voyage after just smelling a sample I bought and loved the aquatic fresh vibe and had to buy it, funny thing is I never even wear it since I bought it. I wore it for a short period after I bought it and got me plenty of compliments, but now I just don't like the cheap toilet spray vibe it gives me anymore I want better quality and sexier fragrances. So generally I reach for Ralph Lauren Deep Blue for that sexy aquatic fresh scent that doesn't smell cheap quality

Great overall, but I have to underline that the fragrances you picked were very good for a reaction video! Not only on this one, but you are always spot on at selecting the scents.

If you get the chance, try and find a bottle of Lagerfeld Cologne. It's vintage and for vintage, you can find it for good value. The newer bottles say Classic, you have to look for the one that says cologne. I don't care for Curve, but that's just me. I do like Coach for Men, and I do like a lot from the Issey line. I don't own any from these two houses. I have a few from Hugo. The Scent, and Bottled Oud. I don't care for those, but I do like Hugo Sport and Hugo Boss No.1 vintage. Both of those are vintage. I know the girls wouldn't like No.1 vintage, for it does have that animalic honey in the opening. That's ok, I like it, and I do wear perfumes mainly for me. I do like the fact that these girls don't care for scents that are overpowering. This was a really good upload. Keep them coming. SOTD, Polo Sport Vintage. Man, I still like this one.

btw love the afterthoughts at the end of video.
i use coach. i have not one complaint
great video. it’s nice that you actually showed them what they picked. 🙌🏻
If you get the chance, try and find a bottle of Lagerfeld Cologne. It's vintage and for vintage,
you can find it for good value.
I don't care for those, but I do like Hugo Sport
and Hugo Boss No.1 vintage.
Over a decade ago, I was wearing Nautica Voyage and this girl that I was mad into told me that it was a panty dropper. I still think about it to this day. 😔
You get them to drop?
@@smellgoodcartel6568 I did, my guy. Coolest chick I've ever been with. Honestly, she was THE one, but, it was one of those right person, wrong time type of deals.
@@plasticwrap Man that hits..I know how it feels to be chasing a ghost...
So nice to see women raw reviews and not dudes (of men cologne)
Weird how citrusy scents are such hit or miss, I wonder how Dior Homme Cologne and Bvlgari Wood Neroli work on these people.
The challenge here is.. all those girls are clueless when it comes to fragrances first of all. They are confused with what is feminine and what is masculine. What is "young" what is "old"..
How about ask some people that are educated about fragrances. Skip the rest.
I own Lagerfeld Classic. Love it. Good for the cooler months.
can you put loriental white in one of these vids
#6 was very interesting, tells me which of the girls have "healthy" relationships with men in their lives.
"Musky old, stranger danger/dad" vibes vs. "Ooh, this smells like my grandpa" haha
BIG FACTS...
@Kevin. My favorite was: "Smells like shaving cream fights in the 7th grade". 😊
Lol I bought him hugo and when he opened it I said "my grandpa wore this and I loved how it smelled" haha
issey miyake l'eau d'issey 🙌🙌
Where is Tressa? :(
I always enjoy your women's reaction videos even though I, a gay guy, am not part of the main demographic for these. A true fraghead should be open-minded. Keep up the quality work. 👌🏻
Curve was the goat back in the day 🤣
Please learn what "Drydown" really means. Its not 1 hour after adding. It's after 8+ hours, after the scent is almost completely gone, but you can still smell it the next morning. Thats the drydown!
More videos like these please
If I was 30 and single I’d wear Lagerfeld Classic and take Anna to Barrymore’s which is a lounge built on the stage of an old theater.
Funny, because she kinda has (Drew) Barrymore vibes lol
@@GucciButNotGuilty
She seems like a very kind sweetheart just like Drew.
Please do more Vintage Vintage scents ! The modern stuff is boring ...
