    I've done a few tracks and or driveshafts and I've never split the calipers. Just and fyi if you pull it out a bit and move the driveshaft it will come out without splitting the caliper. Took a few extra min. but no need to bleed the breaks

    Was wondering if you pull start rope rubs against your harness and the cross member under the plastics and what you did to correct that. Unfortunately it came like that brand new for me and I've realized it on every other M8 ctec2 I've looked at.. Moved my harness out of the way and dont know what to do about the cross member part of the problem. Any ideas would be great👍

    The longer vidios make more sense. Thanks for the option. Question, did you window out the new track or do the Ski-doo trakes come that way? Also if you where to put a 10 inch big wheel kit on at the same time wouldn't that make up the difference so you still had adjustability? Thanks again for these videos

    Love your videos you've helped me a lot of times can't thank you enough.
    I have a question about changing my drivers from 3.00 pitch to 2.86. I have to 2019 high Country 153 limited 9000 turbo. I know this may sound funny but in 2020 I converted my sled into a basically riot 9000 before cat introduced the riot 9000 in 2023. So I changed all the AArms, spindles and shocks up front to a 43 inch front end and running a 153 with a 1.75 inch back country track. Now I'm a 50/50 rider but mostly trail. The 1.75 inch lug on long rides vibrates so much with its 3 inch pitch. Now my next project is to drop a 146 inch cross action skid into the 153 tunnel and changing the drivers to a 2.86 pitch and then the track to a 146x1.35 inch cobra and adding studs. Keep in mind the new riots with their 146 inchers use the same 153 inch tunnel as mine. So I figured this project would work. I would like to know your thoughts on this before I attempt this next step. I just want it to run smoother less vibrations. 1.75 inch track is the smallest lug track in can get for the 153 inch rails plus I'm not comfortable putting 1.86 inch studs on a 3.00 pitch track. Because of all that power in the 998 turbo I can't get it to the ground with 1.75 lug track with no studs. Therefore I came up with the idea of changing out the rear end like explained. Thoughts?

    • @DIGIT9
      @DIGIT9  ปีที่แล้ว

      Might be easier to cut the 1.75 " track down to a 1" track ? Or find another track to do it to ? Changing drivers , track and suspension will work better but is alot of work !

    This is really cool to see. My little brother is doing a bunch of mods to his old little 600 powder special. The track he’s putting in is a 159 2 inch that came out of the my old 1000 triple. It’s all old technology but its a lot cheaper and it good experience doing fab work and mechanical work. He’s making a bunch of other custom mods for it to sensed we got all kinda of fab tools at home. I was wondering what your thoughts @DIGIT9 was about this much track would be like under that little sled. I figure you would know a bit about these old time mods and if any one ever did it before.

    • @DIGIT9
      @DIGIT9  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cant see it being a problem , as long as you do a few engine mods , gear it down , get track to spin over easy ! Should work good !

      @@DIGIT9 yeah thats sorta what i was thinking maybe a bit of clutching to. he's also going to be running extaverte drivers so that should help lots. sadly from what ive heard those old 600 cats don't have very much more power in them and you got to do a bunch of work to get it. whats your thoughts of those old 600 twins? from factory there only what 110 hp if you optimistic about it lol. I'm really exited to see it go i loved that sled when it was mine it just never missed a beat.
