I'll be following along as usual. I've only met Rudi a few brief times in person but for all of his 1000 mile ventures. I admire your enthusiasm, energy and downright love of living life well 100%. Not to mention the human decency and giving of himself that you don't often see in this world these days. You were obviously steered well in your upbringing. Good to see your going utu be with this new channel. I agree with the previous chimer on the background music. Arcticcat has always had the best looking sleds. They have to get about 150 miles on them before they break in. My 900 Zr was awesome. Engine was electric ⚡️.
I'm looking forward to your experience with this sled, seeing that I'm in the market for a new sled and have been a Cat guy since I started riding 15 years ago. My first sled was a 2001 ZR 600 EFI, from there I moved up to a 2003 and 2005 F7 Sno Pro EFI's, then to my first "new" sled (2014 El Tigre 6000), and now currently riding a "stock" 2016 All green limited 137" and a slightly modified 2016 All Black Limited 137". I recently had the opportunity to sit on a new Catalyst 600, Polaris XCR 9R and Ski Doo XRS 850 and I now have a real dilemma on what I want 😞 Deep down I want to stay with Cat and get an 858 137 ", but those 2 other sleds are very nice too! I'm not sure if they changed the seat cushion on the 2025 Catalysts vs the 24's, but the 24'- 600 I sat on was very hard! Coming off my 16' procross, which is very soft, I found the Poo and Doo to be a little more comfortable. Now that's based off just sitting on them and not riding them for a few miles,so..... If I do the 858, I will do very similar mods that I did to my 16 800. The best mod to date was swapping out the 1.25" Rip saw track and installing the Storm 150 !! Felt like I gained 25 HP! I also installed a Speedwerx clutch kit and Diamond S titanium "quiet' can. Looks and sounds awesome, not too loud 🙂 I will also do a wrap, I would strongly recommend a wrap from Arctic FX, 10X better quality than the cheap factory decals. I also will do the woody's studs and C&A pro skis again! subscribed 🙂
Already Done--- the severance package that the last of employees received just this week said No Manufacturing of any new sleds or atv/utvs would be taking place unless a buyer was found. They are going to wrap thinngs up in the 1st quarter of 2025----But no New Products will be produced. ITS Over---who is going to buy them with the powersports industry sales tanking market wide.
@MiK3Y13 BA HA HAA Kawasaki has already said they want no part of the snowmobile Industry..They already did that..and Kawasaki already sells more atv/utv than Cat ever did....No one in either market will miss cat.
@@jdxjim I'll miss cat.. this is not good for the sled industry to let skidoo and Polaris be the only two. Not good at all. Now they can write their own prices even more for the sleds less competition to innovate the whole industry is just tanking don't worry it's not just cat doo and po are in same boat but they make good ATVs and sxs to stay afloat more so then cat

I didn’t like the 03 Fire cat. It didn’t feel good.

All sleds should have an option to have an analog tach, way easier to read at a glance.
I buy small Coffee Containers ect and refill them from larger bulk sized containers..
Actually think mid height windshield look better
1.8 studs is huge on a 1.25 lug the 1.375 what i run and they penetrate plenty.
Unfortunately Textron is going to let Cat go it’s a shame
