Hi mate, great vid. Someone fitted my worktops and there is glue residue. What’s the best way to remove this? They didn’t use masking tape when applying it
I got to the point of adding a bracing piece to the underside today, took the fourth screw out the 20mm box and it was a 25mm screw, didn't realise until too late 😑
Try using colorfill instead of silicone mate. Much better end result.
colour fill goes off too quickly IMHO,
Can you use colorfill as an adhesive? I thought it was just for cosmetic filling. Bought some but haven’t assembled the worktop yet or used it.
Glue + clamps + biscuit bar + mending plate = earthquake proof. 😂
White colourfill???

Whoops a daisy 😡
Do I have to do male and female cuts on a square edge worktop or just on round edge worktops doing my first at home
just butt join square edge, you will need to route the joiners into the worktops.
@@matthollis4009 I used a 35mm hinge bit and a multi tool to cut out the slots, just done that on my worktop and works well :)
Good work 💪 👷
