- God of War for PS4 is DEFINITELY in my top 3 favourite games of all time after this God of War gameplay. But can I challenge myself and beat the game using only Kratos's fists? Follow me on Twitter @danteravioli for updates and exclusive pictures!
This game is an absolute masterpiece, no doubt about it. From the first boss fight with Baldur to the many ogres and trolls Kratos faces throughout God of War 4, the action and fun just never seems to stop! I'm beyond excited for the release date of God of War 5 and you KNOW I'll be pre-ordering that game the moment it drops in stores. Anyway, can I beat the game fists only? And what does "fists only" mean? The way I played it was as long as I didn't touch my Leviathan Axe, my Blades of Chaos, or Atreus's arrows, I was good. So I was allowed to kick, use my shield, and use my rage/fury bar. Watch the video for a beautiful story, you won't regret it my boys.

Is anyone else here excited for God of War 5? There's so much they can do with the story and I can't wait to see what happens to Freya, Kratos, and Atreus. Will they meet Thor? How will Ragnarok play out? I can't wait. This God of War gameplay took me an entire week to get through and in total, it was 150 GB of footage to go through. The amount of times I've heard the word "boy" is astounding.
I tried beating God of War using only my fists. AND on the hardest difficulty of all of them. Was I successful, or was it another failed challenge? Watch the video to find out. Thanks for all of the support guys.

My first play through I forgot you could use the axe in the first fight against baldur so I used my fists and honestly it felt right. Two gods going toe to toe using raw strength

You know, base of lore story wise this is exactly what happened for most of the time lol except for the always dying part. The dev already confirmed that kratos was holding back the entire game. Kratos could one shot everything, but well he doesn't want Atreus to see "Greek Kratos" lol.

20:42 killing this enemy is actually apart of a scripted event triggering that cutscene where Artreus gets trapped under the corpse. So I think it's an exemption.

I think that parrying in souls is way harder than god of war. Every enemy have different timings for each of their attacks. Some are so fast you have to press parry as soon as the attack begins. Others are so slow you even have time to press parry again after the first one fails.
I never parry in DS i...........ROLL!!!!!
Nah, press parry button once the attacks is “released”. Not during the “wind up”....and use a small shield. Most frames for parry window

Rolling I framed is better than blocking 100%.
But a lot of bosses can be parried like pontiff, champ and idex gundyr, Gwyn, tons of Bloodborne bosses etc... I like to speedrun bloodborne and ds3 and parrying gets the job done faster in some cases
Apex try to parry Iudex Gundyr and turn slowly in to a parry god from there
Why not to win the mercenaries in resident evil 4 without graving any times

@@joaquinfigueroa1193 yes,ive played mercenaries endless times,when you attack a stunned enemy and it kills them it only gives 3 seconds,and if you try to do that to other enemies,youve already lost the 3 second bonus you got

respect to you for actually doing this challenge in the hardest difficulty! Because the hardest difficulty gives the enemies a chance to level up when they haven't been attacked for a while which makes them stronger.
The pile of corpses when Kratos is pulled out of the light legitimately proves Atraeus is a lot stronger than he ever shows to Kratos.

If it was one at a time it’s still impressive, if it was in groups like the game had been doing up until that point then even better

Plus he didn’t even know he was a god at that point so he wasn’t using any magical abilities yet because since he believed he was just mortal it made him weaker AKA the sickness. Anthony Rivera They have a huge impact but we don’t notice it. I recently did a second walkthrough of the game on GMGOW and I had 250+ defence and the damage I took was impressively reduced

Upgrading the axe used to give you more damage with your fists, my first play through I only used the axe for ledge enemies and the blades right after I got them.

@I in the short term yeah it feels like someone is slkxing2open a part of your stomach and its painful as fuck so in the short term yes its worse my guy. Although people do have different pain tolerance so if you have superhuman pain tolerance that isn't a valid point to make.

The only difficulty I experience when doing this is the fact that most puzzles are axe-related and having to deal with it coming back to you every time you progress through areas.
dude you can throw rocks in rage mode against ancient when he's opening his damned chest, its usually OHK or allow you to grab them. (I'm in 18:28 btw)

@@Heromike-jm1ix Obviously? You don't get staggered or take damage while in rage mode, and ancients' cores stay open for several seconds, you can easily hit them with a rock in rage mode.
@@SalvageET well no duh but using the rock takes a lot of rage and he can only throw 2 (roughly) and then have to gain rage back. It will take to long
@@Heromike-jm1ix Two rocks are more than enough to kill an ancient, and he had runes that let him gain infinite rage over time.
@@SalvageET first off two rocks arnt especially that it takes a bit to throw one which means it can put the rocks over it’s heart after one rock and his rage will go away. Second off the tune take a long ass time to recharge and give him his rage overall taking a long time.

Well, I think I saw some inconsistencies. The first fight he doesn't take that much damage. Besides, enemies basically gain super armor when you deal a lot of damage. I really think this isn't on GMGOW difficulty.
