Can We Beat ANYBODY? - Madden 24 Saints Franchise (Y2:G14-15) | Ep.35

- My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway. - เกม
You really just gotta sign someone at QB because Haener is a liability
EDIT: I apologize, I wasnt familiar with your game
EDIT 2: I apologize, I was familiar with your game
Kelce's 18 receptions ties Jason Witten (2012) for the most catches by a tight end in a game in NFL history.
With it being the Fantasy Playoffs, I advise you to start the starting RB going against our New Orleans Saints! Here’s been the PPR point totals for each starting RB New Orleans has played thus far:

Week 2: Khalil Herbert (CHI) - 31.2 pts
Week 3: Javonte Williams (DEN) - 30.8 pts
Week 4: Josh Jacobs (LV) - 21.8 pts

Week 6: Tyler Goodson (ATL) - 14.8 pts
Week 7: J.K. Dobbins (DAL) - 25.6 pts
Week 8: Miles Sanders (CAR) - 44.6 pts
Week 9: BYE
Week 10: Devin Singletary (WAS) - 34.4 pts
Week 11: Chris Robinson (TB) - 38.7 pts
Week 12: D’Andre Swift (PHI) - 47.8 pts
Week 13: Cam Akers (LAR) - 23.6 pts
Week 14: Saquon Barkley (NYG) - 24.6 pts
Week 15: Isiah Pacheco (KC) - 11.5 pts
Week 16: Bijan Robinson (ATL) - 14.7 pts
that stretch from week 8 to week 12 😭😭😭
165.5 points in total, averaged to about 41.4 in that stretch
oof this is brutal lol
Well that's alarming
@@MrHurriicane ‘cane you gotta bring in Boogie Turner. Yeah he’s washed up but the front line needs a vet presence lol
Might need Sylvester Seymour to come out of retirement (again)
You know what maybe I don’t want spoiler protection
Pete Werner should have gotten a dev trait upgrade since he got a tackle for loss against the Chiefs and that was one of the things needed to obtain an upgrade.
This offseason coming up is going to be wild
Shouldn't Pete Warner have gone up to star dev? He had that TFL on the Machines run
Yeah that should have counted
Hope people see this, so that cane sees.
I'll look back at this and check on things
@@lamefuqq6985 It's a TFL/sack/int goal or hold to under 250 yards. Not an and.
@@lamefuqq6985that doesn't matter. It's an either or situation.
I think pearman should have gotten more chances
It'd be cool to take a gamble on a latter round QB. Haener will never be the guy for the future and you could get lucky and find someone with hidden development
Man, the potential fits for a Shanahan style system for this team could be exciting. If an upgrade at QB doesn't present itself, Haener is at least showing signs of life. With your cap situation, it wouldn't be a terrible option to invest in him, or another cheap/young QB. Also, you're improving.
System fits:
QB: Haener?=Purdy, potentially?
RB: Miller, Waters, Robinson
WR1: Olave=Ayuik
WR2: Perry= Juan Jennings, ironically
WR3= Peerman, Deebo lite
TE= ?, maybe one presents itself in the draft?
Top off season needs:
1) QB
2) Edge/DL
3) OT
4) TE
Stylistically I'd love to be more Shanahan like in the future. It's something I've sort of tried and failed doing in past series, and ended up pivoting. But I've certainly done my share of 11 personnel generic modern offenses. I'd like to do something different in this series. I'm hoping I have the right players and can get a playbook together that gives us more under-center variety and a sense of direction in Year 3.
SPOILER PROTECTION
atp no spoiler is needed this team is carolina barbecue
First again.
This is the best time to trade our 1st for multiple picks. Seems like a strong draft aside from QB
I love the way Waters has been running this season. I'd love to see him have more of a role on the offense if possible!
Peerman can't be expected to be a great deep threat if you don't have a QB that can reliably deliver on those deep passes
That first game gives me a sliver of a shred of a scrap of an iota of hope for the playoff game. You know the one.
Im so hyped for this series you have no idea. I’ve been here WAITING since the last one 😂
As always, enjoying so much the games with Mr. Hurricane!
As a lifelong Saints fan I can hear the “Fire Tim Cannon” chants on local sports radio.
Man, it’s going to be a tough offseason. Going to need to fix a lot of issues.
love the format cane
22:30 no no nononoNONONOOOOOO *YES HOLY CRAP WAAARRRRGARBL*
A.T. Perry GETS IT DONE.
Let’s freakin gooo!!
You guys played well and avenged that overtime loss with a big big overtime upset win against Kansas City.
There is still a lot of work to be done but this was a good way to close out what’s been a bad bad year. Big ups to Haener!
Edit: Nevermind, the Falcons are the brick wall that stops ya..
Just food for thought in the offseason. Should you try to pursue Justin Fields in a trade with the Bears? Reunite him with Chris Olave
Just a heads up, you may already know this but if you specifically want man coverage for cornerbacks such as Tommy Tomlinson, upgrade slot and it will give +3 or 4 coverage almost every time. Thanks for the awesome content MrHurriicane
If Pearman has fallen off it's mostly your fault for going away from him. You should take some shots downfield with him to stretch the field.
yo cane can we see the most recent sliders you have set in your franchise? something feels off with the sliders from when I inputted them from the start of the series to now. especially since it’s all madden.
Your games play out a lot better especially the defensive side of the ball.
I second this.
I'm behind on updates again but I use matt10s set with +1 CPU run block.
Man hell no . This defense is horrendous
You need to give Waters a bigger role. I think the guy can really develop into a beast for you!
3:31 Peyton Turner buddy...
Need to see these sliders
Cam Graham is a must draft for the name alone!
"lights went out in the Georgia dome" :( as a falcons fan i miss the georgia dome
Speaking of Taysom hill when’s his contract up? Definitely gonna have to cut ties with him too if you wanna get outta cap hell. I know he’s a saints fan fav irl but I’m sure his cap hit is crazy.
Brian Johnson has quietly been great all year. Johnson and Kendre Miller should be the focus for the rest of the season on the ground.
I think they all have, Waters too. I love the different backs, reminds me of the 2017 Eagles with Sproles->Clement, Ajayi and Blount.
@@NATUR3F33LS IKR? There's no more need for Kamara, should be an easy trade/cut.
@@DolFan316 Yup. He's good, but none of these guys are even close to his salary combined and they're all pitching in and look great. Time to move on!
Hey cane, would love to see your starting cornerbacks be Tomlinson, Taylor, and stoutnire. We now know adebo isn’t coming back, and I would love to see “how badly” we need Lattinore. He’s been getting burnt all season and I think you could get a good pick for him (and grab that tight end)
Man that chiefs game felt like the real deal any given Sunday!
I'm thinking maybe the plan should be to trade down with this top 10 pick for next year's first from some other team, then use those 2 firsts next year to get that franchise qb
TRADE THEM ALL!! TRADE THEM ALL!!
That Patrick Mahomes statline was almost video-game-like... oh wait
dont know what was funnier: the power going out, switch off the lights of the stadium or Cane calling the stadium Georgia Dome
29:43 he had da check down
Apparently where I live there's going to be a big blizzard next week, so the offseason will come at the perfect time 🤘🤘🤘
lol
Kevin Blackwell
6'5" 270lbs.
That's a monster TE lol.
A tackle (on either side) should be the first round focus. Then TE, edge, or QB in the 3rd.
Your offense is solid except at QB and maybe the O line can use some upgrades. What you need to focus on in the draft and FA is defense first.
Believe it or not, this isn't even the most pass attempts in a game Mahomes has had. He chucked it 68 times VS the Titans in an OT game last season.
He did set an NFL record for most completions in a game though, nobody IRL has ever had more than 45.
*DRAT!!! CURSES!!!* My prediction of a 4-10 start was off by one game 😠
Jesus my saints became the aints again!
Olave impersonating Nico Collins on that first catch vs ATL.
Lovelocke’s speed and physical attributes make me think he’s gonna be GOOD. 70-74 with hidden good.
Lovelock looks like he has better injury and acceleration, and alright agility/change of direction, than Blackwell. I might put Lovelock higher.
I tried to tell everybody for 2 videos now, Cane doesn't tank. He plays like my team IRL in December every time they've already been eliminated from the playoffs.
Haener for MVP
Lets hope there is a good QB in FA
With your playmaker on offense you should use Kyle Shanahans playbook
You should try pearman at hb start him at 3rd down hb and slot
This team is going to need a lot of help. Sends like another two years is needed at least.
@2:30 Why does Hill look so surprise that the game said that he's hurt, Bro was like '' I'm hurt?''
Off-season you don’t need to focus on getting a qb focus on playing it you miss too many check downs don’t utilize seams or motion when kamara went down Robinson and peerman should’ve got those touches but I know you gon turn it around eventually
I mean, carr snd haener have both been complete and utter garbage :p
The lights look like they're off in "the Georgia Dome?" Did we go back in time?
If so, it must've been back to a time before electricity existed.
Does anyone know what’s up with the AI literally neglecting the run game? My games on defense are the same way. AI will throw it 50 times and run it 10 for some reason.
Miller has to be the starter next season or draft a RB and you need a starting QB next season also you need pass rush😅. Your WR’s are good and you may need a TE
May you please make a Slider video. I been tryna recreate a realistic play style for my franchises and can’t seem to get it right.
He uses Matt10s sliders (found on OperationSports) with a +1 boost to CPU run blocking. I think Cane is playing on an older patch, though; once he finds a balance he likes he usually doesn't make any changes.
I am still loving this series but I gotta say... some of these reades are... let's just say, Questionable? 😅
I think Trey lance could be a good option this offseason
I think u should trade down in the first to recop some picks
Gotta get AT to 1,000
If I’m being honest I would try to trade Derrick Carr for a player who has almost the same contract but a skill player or multiple lineman but trade away mid to high level picks
Spoiler!!
Come on KC... Took away our Hill game! But GG Haener!
Say what you want but Miller is a bit of a beast.
Did Pete complete his breakout? Looked like he had 2+ TFLs.
I was wondering the same thing
I was doing patriots franchise and gave the bills their one loss
maybe its time to fire the head coach and start over fresh
Let's just be honest here, the real reason Cane benched Carr is so he could have at least one QB finish with more TDs than INTs 😋
how the hell is desmond ridder superstar dev lol
Was Taylor Swift at the game?
Why is number 35 so little bro?
Trey lance?
You had a 14-point lead and you gave it up by forcing passes that are not open at all.
If you throw 17 or more picks next season I’m putting the series down lol. It’s unbearable to me
If you don't either draft a QB or sign a good QB in the off-season, your going to be in a world of pain. Carr is utter garbage, and harner isn't the answer.
