- It's Year 2 of the Madden 24 Saints Franchise. The rebuilding begins as we look to transform this Saints roster. We've made moves to add youth and upside to an aging defense. Our rookie class looks like one that could make a big early impact. The offense hasn't seen as much change, but still needs to find new playmakers that can be part of our future. We had limited ways to upgrade the roster with our cap situation, but hopefully we've found a way to make progress.
My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway. - เกม

Cane needs to grow a beard in support of Beard's rookie of the year campaign.

I'm not convinced he CAN grow a beard. I've been watching since the Vikings franchise and he's always been baby faced as he is now.

Stoutmire balls out in spot starts last year and shows he's worth more playing time. Im more surprised he hasnt stolen some of Lattimore's snaps with Tomlinson and Adebo being must play.
I dont know what youve changed in the scheme, Cane, but I like how much this front four has improved over the season. Beard, Houston, and Redmon have come alive lately and its finally helped our secondary win their matchups.
Tomlinson is still good for one blunder a game, but the pressure we get from our front 4 along with some exotic blitzes helps so much.
I couldn’t care less that Jones had a 300 yard 3 TD day when most of it came in garbage time.
I'll say I do see one thing to clean up, and thats some of the passing game. Lance has to be better with the football to open up the passing lanes. Giants defense made great adjustments to stop our run game and put more of the pressure on Lance to beat them on intermediate and deep routes. A better defense will punish our offense if Lance can't be better here, and that’s exactly what worries me with Atlanta on the horizon.

The offense needs a better quick game. Lance is basically forced to survive for 3-4 seconds until a play develops or else its a sack or incompletion. Some shorter concepts like slants or mesh could also get Pearman more looks.

If Houston's breakout opportunity - which I'm ecstatic he completed, mind you! - had gone to Beard instead, he'd have earned the upgrade even more handily. Really stunning how he's gone from "Getting overpowered by tight ends" to "Getting a tackle for minimal gain on a Brandon Aiyuk screen despite Trent freaking Williams shoving him flat on his back seconds prior" (the anti-Haynesworth maneuver!) in such a short span of time.
I'm guessing his last ratings upgrade got him over some calculatory threshold he'd just barely been on the wrong side of. In any case, way to… well, "grow the beard," Juan!
@@nicholasbuffone175it’s a mix of the rating hitting a useable spot and some really convenient blocking. Dude somehow manages to be unblocked or blocked by tight ends at a truly astounding clip.

Agree that Kendre Miller needs more touches. Waters has about as many carries as him. Waters hasn't been sewage if you get my gist, but Miller should get more carries than him
The creative blitzes have been fantastic, now if we can get pressure with 4 this defense might really become something.

Cane, you should drop player's FG accuracy slider a bit. 50+ FGs aren't supposed to be this automatic

Does Stoutmire have any safety traits? I’d love to see that kind of height playing center field and shutting down the deep ball
I'm not even trying to be a hater but I swear any time Beard makes a play it's because somebody on the offense just didn't even try to block him
He's getting lucky, but also seems to be making plays outside of these moments.

Hey Cane I've tried in my franchise lowering the QB draft to weak. It really has stabilized the crazy QB shuffle with teams. I had restarted my Broncos franchise and it seems way more realistic. Teams seem to hang on to their top QB. You might get a few moves but it's nothing crazy and unrealistic like it usually is on the base settings. I kept all the other draft positions normal.
I tested this and I think both are doable. I just liked the balance of normal even though you will get some super classes. Something between the two is probably perfect.

Are the accuracy sliders any different to the start of the series? Lance seems pretty accurate compared to Carr
No changes. Lance is missing a lot of the throws Carr did too, but we throw less and less often downfield.
I am convinced John Waters is a glorified practice dummy. Hes not fast, he doesn't make guys miss, he doesn't break tackles, he just gets good blocks.
