Kate Liu is the only young pianist that I know of who seems to be aware of what she wants to bring across. I only saw her on the internet and never heard or on the radio here in Holland. Wake up, Holland, you're missing a once in a lifetime talent!
Kate Liu is one of the greatest pianists of our time.
No no.... La PIÙ GRANDE!
Agree with you absolutely
Yes, she is!
I guess Im asking randomly but does anybody know a method to get back into an instagram account..?
I somehow forgot the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Holden Wilder Instablaster =)
Parfait merci beaucoup Kate
un respect total de la partition ❤
She is so humble, and full of Grace in the Mind of Beethoven.
Really??
Im a big fan of Kate Liu. Her music is
so beautiful and she was born to be a pianist~!
Nobody is born to be anything in specific... It takes lots of hard work to become and stay a pianist... She was given an opportunity and chose this pathway in her life... and we are very thankful she did!
Always we love you from south korea
형~ 또보네요
Justesse et simplicité. La beauté pure. Merci pour l’absence de publicité.
Such fierce lightness 🙏
Yes......lightness, the problem, not Beethoven.......
This is incredible. One of the best performances of this Sonata I've heard.
DB
Her playing is very precise.
This is exactly how I want LvB op110
to be played,
what a crescendo of sensualism,
I'm sure that piano loves the way she's playing.
I'll love to hear her play Debussy. Her sensitivity and emotional expression will be good match for his music.
Great performance. I loved every single note she has played.
Her technique is absolutely flawless
Браво! Высочайший уровень пианизма.
Bravo Madame....It's all inside your head! True expression! Thank you!
So perfect. Love your musicianship Kate. Please, more Beethoven! Hope to hear you in concert.
Genius. Beethoven never sounded better.
i have listened this sonata played by almost all the greatest and famous pianist during the past years and more recently. Miss Kate she is flying well over all of them!! Her piano can be so tragic but in the same time full of joy, she plays with her hsoul with her heart with love and passion.Simply divine and so cute.
Aaahhh i love you Kate!!!
Kate, you're just amazing! I hope I could hear you playing all of Beethoven sonatas. Yours will be side by side with Backhaus in my library.
Amazing contrasts. Very moving. Kate Liu. I look forward to hearing the rest of Kate's story. She's absolutely remarkable.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Unique sensitivity,
What a performance!
One of my favourites , so heard it many times as well as playing it myself to a far less standard. That was one of the best performances of it I have heard. Bravo !
Interpretazione magistrale dell'immenso Beethoven musica che ti porta nell'universo grazie mille

So emotional...Love Kate's elegant touch and lovely rubato. This would be my favorite interpretation of No.31 among those on TH-cam
She is an angel
Kate, a lovely and relaxing interpretation!
Kate em cada nota um suspiro de um sonho!
Exquisite interpretation! Thank you for this brilliant performance. I look forward to hearing more from Kate Liu!
Beethoven would be proud
It's true she has great technique and she can play fast and soft which is a really coveted skill for pianists... She has great potential to reach the greats such as Richter, Pollini etc.
Come on! Kate Liu has an ice cold dry thin piano sound! Kate Liu is a boring second-rated pianist! Kate Liu was not in the finals weak Geza Anda Competition! Crazy world we are living when the crazy deaf people claiming weak colorless dry cold piano sound Kate Liu is great! More genius than Kate Liu=Sviatoslav Richter Solomon
More colorful beautiful piano sound than K ate Liu=Wilhelm Kempff Emil Gilels Radu Lupu Artur Rubinstein Vladimir Ashkenazy Grigory Sokolov! More genius than Kate Liu=Sviatoslav Richter Solomon Cutner Grigory Sokolov Maurizio Pollini Stanislav Bunin Maria Grinberg! More powerful louder than Kate Liu=Mikhail Pletnev! The Second Loudest ever was Lazar Berman! The 3rd Loudest was Erwin Nyiregyhazi! Horowitz his technique attack better than Liu's technique! Classical music is so sick business! No other business number 500 is Best!
Really nice. I played this piece, it's one of my favorites.
Truly love this graceful, artful, SUBLIME rendition
Weak, nothing there...this is not Beethoven..
More than fantastic❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
OUTSTANDING!!!!
Beautiful Kate!
My favorite sonata
beethoven no 31
Especially Ellen grimous plays very like 👍
HéLène Grimaud !?
Smashing performance !
She gives the impression of being of a higher species than homo sapiens, having left all human struggle, strifing, ego-tripping behind them. Also their finger nerves go directly to their ears
This is the most feminine and delicate Beethoven I've ever heard
Flawless talent.
I have been working on this piece all year and the only way that I could simulate what Kate has done here is to buy a purple dress...
😊
This is outstanding!

1:14 nothing like this in any other composer
The bass from this Fazioli is great for the left hand passage from 2:20 to 2:30. On Steinways this usually sounds utter crap.
굳굳ㅎ
Still unbelievable that a deaf person can compose this. I dread the day an AI will make music like this.
Well, maybe play with more anger especially in the 3rd movement. Need it to really bring out the piece. Okay, last movement is pretty good.
Oh, the fugue is wonderful! You have to play Bach, Kate!
eNeNe breathtakingly beautiful and magestic
Beethoven's fugues are better as Bach
@@Fritz_Maisenbacher Ludwig himself wouldn't agree.
@@Fritz_Maisenbacher Beethoven said himself he war a lot worse than Bach at fugues
@@Fritz_Maisenbacher lol schiff disagrees, gonna go with the world class pianist opinion. :)
