C7's have the nicest rear ends of any car out there. Oh yeah, much more aggressive looking now. When I was in the Ventura Corvette Club in 1975 -78 I noticed that every time anyone parked their car, they always stopped and turned back to look at it from a distance. It's the same today. Plus Corvettes make the best used car value of any car because us owners baby them. I just installed GM brake pads and rotors on my C6 (Z51) and yes, they were expensive. But only the best will do...because we're so weird. :)
It's really good you showed the back of your car because if I was there I would never ever see it I would struggle to even see the front especially because it would be that far away🤣🤣🤣🤣😘😘
Clearly the best channel out there for the C7 Corvette, GrandSport in particular 👍👍👍👍👍 PS. Recently bought a 2019 GrandSport one owner car with only 4300 miles on it , your channel has helped me Immensely !
I'm going to do one of them comments what I would have done first is to dry fit it I'm just saying this way you know what lines up or not yes I just did one of them comments love you mate🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks pretty slick! That thing will stick like glue on the track ... or the expressway on-ramp, but you didn't hear that from me ...😏😁 GM infuriates me! I don't know what those cost (I'd imagine they're not cheap, since #1, Corvette, and #2, GM), but you'd think they'd have some damn quality control there! Just packing them in foam that had a little "stick" to it would've prevented scuffing in transit. As far as the holes go ... all I can say is, "wow", there - fantastic job, GM, as usual!! I'd expect that from a Dorman product, not an OE accessory! Sadly, I think that company has runs its course ... 😟 She's a beauty, Glen! Thanks for sharing. 👍🍻
I just did this same mod last night. You can put a little heat on the old spoiler wing to get it started before you start in on the prying process. Mine had the same scuffing on the wings.
Ozzstar's Cars it really does look awesome. Your car and mine are very very similar. Same color, same fender stripes, I replaced the Brembo’s with the hawk pads like you did. The only difference is that I went with a white vinyl stripe down the middle. I used the same kit that GM that you could order from the factory. Really makes the Admiral blue pop. I’ll post a pic to your facebook post. I’m willing to bet some of your viewers would be interested in seeing the install process for that too.
Getting that thing off of the car reminded me a lot of trying to get phones or tablets apart to replace the battery. Remember when we had screwdrivers and wrenches? Oh well at least the tape doesn't get rusty I guess.
I agree. I bought an OEM part hoping the quality would be good and the part would bolt in with no problems. Oh well Dan, you know how things go. 😉 Diagnose Glen Fixed it Again?? lolol You're the man Dan! When is the next video coming out?
I run stage 3 all the time. I can actually feel the down force around 120+ , really noticeable after 150, however top speed is restricted. Fuel mileage is unchanged, 21 mpg at 78 mph
That's a good suggestion. Is there anything specific about the active fuel management system you are interested in? How it works in general or how it relates to Corvette specifically? Thanks!
Ozzstar's Cars I’ve been reading a lot about it causing issues with lifter damage along with oil consumption problems. Actually seen a video where it was suspected to have caused lifter damage to the point that the engine had to be replaced in a C7 on brink of speed. Just wondering about an AFM disables for my Stingray
@@skslone9450 well that's a controversial subject for sure. I don't find something guilty if it's only suspected, there has to be pure evidence. Hard to determine what caused the failure if the data is not there.
Ozzstar's Cars suspected may have not been the correct word, Chevy dealers are saying this was the cause of the failures even with engines still under warranty. So I was just curious and brought it up due to your mechanical know how and skill. Thanks and keep the videos coming!
@@skslone9450 if you don't mind and get a chance could you forward me the article/info link(s) where you read this info? My email is ozzstar@aol.com. Thanks
That is a porcelain reproduced Delaware antique tag. My particular tag number would have originally been issued around the early to mid 1940's. All tags issues in Delaware are numerical, no letters. The lower the number the more valuable and prestigious it is. Tags can be bought and sold. Single digit like number 6 sold for around $460K dollars. A 5 digit tag like mine is probably worth $800-1200. A four digit tag around $4-6K. A number like 333 brings more money than 332 or 334 would, which is around $40K. I considered making a video on the subject but not sure if many would be interested. Thanks for stopping by brother!

Uhmmm Leon, that's not what my rear view mirror would tell me. 😂😂😂
Lookin good Glen! Someday i'll get out that way and see the car in person.
Good tutorial video. Thanks for showing the detail and the difficult spots.
BTW, I love the Admiral Blue!
Thanks Tim and the color it happens to be one of my favorites. 👍
Nice job mate looks awesome in the sunshine and sounds absolutely beautiful

That's awesome man enjoy your new car and thanks for the kind words!
Lots of patience and detail went into the installation to make it right. Looks good Glen and now you should be able to keep it on the ground. 😀
Hopefully all fours stay on the road, this thing can corner like you wouldn't believe.
Looks great Glen! Thanks
Thanks Jim

Great job! I am preparing for installation of new victor racing smart active wing.
Oh yeah, that's looking really sweet
Thanks Lloyd

What a difference it makes. Be honest Chris how many times did you go back and stare at it. lolol I know the feeling, take it easy. -Glen

haha sure do Matt.
Great tutorial. I just bought a set for mine this week. 👏👏👏
Nice!
They need to stop hiring blind people for quality control at GM😂

Of course that's on a closed track with a professional driver. 👍👍😉
No, open highway with just me, the occasional deer, and the cops at shift change 🤫
Stage 2 looks sick I bet stage 3 adds a nice amount of sexy as well
thumbs up shared looks awesome bit of work but well worth the effort good job on the polish and fitting
Thanks Drew, been a while!
awesome----job well done--enjoy all ur video's -- will be going stage 2 on my Z51 front and back
Thanks for your support Eugene! Take care -Glen
Looks great!

Great vids! From a fellow Delawarian! We are down in Middletown
Thank you, same location. 😉 Watch out for those Bad Drivers of Mtwn! Haha
They are awful lol.
Great video
Love the new channel name bro
Thanks!
That's awesome. What's the story on the license plate?

The round taillight, I could go for! I just looked up the difference. ..
Stage 2 😍
Use fishing line to remove
That works too! 💪

I definitely like your Corvette over the new model the new model looks to much like chevy trying to copy Maclaren
Be prepared- your fuel mileage will drop by at least .01 MPG, even more when you floor it!
I'll have to start a go fund me gas mileage dropped fund raiser. 🤣🤣🤣
