Welcome to The Creative Cove. My name is Michele.
Today’s video is something simple and easy-going. I’m just taking some of my prefabricated journals that you’ve seen me build over the last couple of months. Finishing them off and filling them so grab your stuff, your glue, your papers and whatever else makes you happy and let’s get to work!

Thanks for posting another video Michele. I love seeing glimpses of the things you've sketched tucked in this journal. You have such a realistic and peaceful way of sketching. I've been practicing this art and have referred to many of our past videos for guidance. Oh, and your sweet six month old puppy snoring is better than any background music! Happy day!

Michele, these look great and I love your sketches scattered throughout! Finally a way to use some stretch lace, I'm totally doing a journal with removable signatures using stretch lace yay. I would love to see puppy sometime. Hugs and stay well.

Love watching your videos. I want to start a junk journal to keep track of all the flowers I'm planting in the yard this year. (At 70 my memory will fade by next summer. LOL) I think it will be a pretty journal but also help me remember what flowers thrived in different places. On those rainy or super hot days while I work in the journal it will feel like I'm still in my flower garden.
So much to take from your videos! I find them so inspiring. Your talking is soothing and real. Love hearing Millie too. I find your videos to be so real and relatable and instructive. Love your junk journal & how quickly you put them together! Just love your technique.
I'm with you on leaving lots of space for writing when making my journals. Sometimes it's frustrating when I compare mine to those made by others, like Bohemian Crafting, because mine look so bare compared to her works of art. But I do put at least a little something on every spread, include a small pack of ephemera, and just remind myself the eventual owner can decorate however they like. I think I just haven't fully figured out my style yet. You're making me want to start doodling because you make it look so easy, but I do know you're far more skilled than I am.
Try not to compare yourself and your work to others. Sounds like you have a style and people will love it. I would recommending trying new ideas and experiments to develop your style even further. I’m sure your journals are lovely 😊

I think so too! Though they both have their uses. I have a hard time with permanent lol
