Watching Sora go from his normal, happy self to a delusional loony even AFTER learning the truth to the point that he's fine with accepting lies and his head messed with "Because they feel real and make me happy" to the point that even Donald and Goofy start to actually get concerned is beyond painful.
King Mickey might be the biggest bro of this entire series so far. Saving Aqua and Ven on several occasions not to mention pretty much single handedly carrying Riku throughout this entire game (also Sora on gang on several occasions) At first I just saw him as a useless Disney tie end but he's really come into his own in this series and I respect they didn't make him overpowered but also didn't understate his importance to the story and his relationships to the characters.

I like the game except the gameplay the cards are hard to figure out. My brain makes me think slower then others. So I had to watch this before I go on to the next game. I really wanted to play it but I couldn’t ever complete it. I will one day but I want to get to 358/2 days and kh 2 final mix.
They’ve been trying to experiment on people with a serum called “DARKNESS” by injecting it straight into a person’s heart so the substance would spread faster. You either become two things: a “HEARTLESS”, where the victim lose all logical thought, gain violent mannerisms, and move only in instinct, or a “NOBODY” (due to the serum completely mutating into a new substance called “NOTHING”) where the victim lose any sense of self an act like a zombie in the early stages, though they seem very capable of mimicking emotions by observing others. Luckily, a small group of people mostly made up of teens have discovered a substance already inside the body that is perfectly capable of combating the drug, which they appropriately named “LIGHT”. Using specialized syringes that are disguised as keys (in order to bypass security) to inject the natural cure/antidote in the most painless way possible named “KEYBLADES”, they go out into the world saving people left and right- Okay, I brought the joke way pass overboard now.
Well, Larxene has a 4-1 (?) track record, she kicked Sora around a lot before that final fight. Lexaeus didn't so much lose to Riku as he did Xemnas, so I'd actually count that as winning the fight with Riku. Axel also breaks the streak, as he survives twice.
i'm replaying all the kingdom hearts games and despite how much i love axel, i just can't bring myself to replay chain of memories because of the damn card system so godbless this video
Every time someone says promise, naminé, or memories. You have to watch the game opening 1 time. But everytime you see a new white room that the characters weren’t previously in you have to watch it twice. Everytime axel is on screen watch it 3 times. Time it and see now long it takes to watch the full movie.
I gave the gameplay style almost 10 hours and I just couldn't get into it. Truly terrible in my eyes. Thanks for saving me and filling me in! Time to continue my journey to catch up to KH3!

Thanks for this video. After playing for 5 hours and losing my mind because of the combat system I´m glad i can still enjoy the story. Some say it´s a challenge to play Chain of Memories but for me it´s just pure pain.
Literally banged my head against the wall for 4 hours trying to get through the game in order to understand that part of the story before replaying kh 2... Couldn't bare any more of the card system so three hour long video it is!

InnerRise the cut scenes where made some time after kingdom hearts 2. The original version of the game was a game boy advance game, but then they redid/ released it on the PS2, but it came out after KH2, so that’s why the voice actor sounds so different, he just went through puberty

Forth, Saïx said there are 6 traitors in the castle, but only 5 were defeated, Larxene, Marluxia, Vexen, Zexion and Lexaeus. So, how did Axel survive? Last, how did Axel managed to find Replica Riku?

A witch is someone, mostly a girl, who uses magic to cast spells on others. Sounds like a good comparison to Namine. 3. Faded away. His heart and body were fake, so once Riku destroyed him, he faded away. 4. I don’t recall Saix saying there were six traitors in Castle Oblivion, just that there were traitors and allies who got in the way. Vexen wasn’t a traitor, he just wanted to control Sora and Riku but got killed by Axel to gain Marluxia’s trust. Lexaeus and Zexion weren’t traitors as they had agendas with Riku that didn’t involve betraying the Organization. Axel wasn’t a traitor because he was sent to deal with the traitors. That just leaves Marluxia and Larxene who definitely were traitors as they were plotting to use Sora to overthrow Xemnas and rule the Organization. 4.5: Axel wasn’t killed in his second fight with Sora. Do you have a version where Sora and Riku's stories aren't interlaced? Riku's story kinda spoils the surprises of Sora's. You know right from the beginning that that isn't the real Riku, and you learn far too early what Naminé is capable of and what she has been doing to Sora.
Oh my god paused what I thought was close to the end and there's still another 45 minutes, so glad I decided to skip the terrible combat and watch this instead :D

Why? This game had already been remade for PS2. Days would have required alot of extra recourses to remake from scratch with little return.
