    Last time the old government introduced 6% GST, the cost of lunch meal, goes up from RM3.50 to RM7, 100%increased. The rich did not feel the pinch, but the poor was sadly unable to afford lunch.

    • @brandenburg2388
      @brandenburg2388 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, fully agree with you. The government must learn how to prioritize spending and cut down on wastages in order to have a surplus budget. That way, GST won't be required.

      And did the lunch menu price goes down after GST was abolished? Now the price stays the same and goverment losses GST revenues, money that can be used to develop the country. Such is the idiocity and stupidity of PH & Nobita 😂😂😂

    Fix the minimum wage and infinite contract employment first before you start taxing the people. So many Malaysian got paid close to minimum wage which is below the poverty line set by the UN. Some of the pretty well off, middle income earners are stuck in contract employment without any job security, insurance or other benefits.

    Well, I must say he is inheriting a economic structure that is exactly the same as when he was thrown out of power in 1998. The average town and city, the generic electronic factory in Penang, the exports, the Proton Saga it's been the same since the time of Anwar as TPM.
    Frankly, I hope he can bring back prosperity to Malaysia. Even Indonesia is steadily catching up.

    Goldman should publicly release a full accounting of whatever Goldman received in fees and commissions from 1MDB and immediately repay that to Malaysia, whether it’s $600 million or more. Voluntary full disgorgement of all gains associated with 1MDB simply must be the first step. Goldman must realize that, in doing this, it will gain more in credibility than it will ever pay in dollars, which will be the foundation for Goldman resolving all the many other aspects of the scandal.

    There is plenty of stupid moves that the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar is making, hoping it will win him, the heart of the malay majority. He wants to be popular among the malays . So he think this is the opportunity. He, Anwar kind of wants to show that he is a champion of Muslims, something Mahathir tried many times and never really succeeded. We know how Mahathir tried desperately in 2019 when he was PM the second time around. Notably was the Malay Congress and International Muslim conference attempts, that very few muslim leaders even bothered to attend. They saw through, motives of the cunning crook Mahathir. Anwar, on the other hand, as he stand now HAMAS and Palestine is his moment. He thinks he can with this opportune moment , hoping also that his personal connection with the President of Turkey, Erdogan, will help. That wont be good enough. Most of them, Malays will not stick, and will fall back to the hard core PAS and this gamble of the support for HAMAS and GAZA, will turn out to be terrible deal for malaysia, in the long run.

Years n years this corruption permeates into every fabric of social lives that Malaysians accept as a norm and turned the blind eye ~ pretending not seeing the evil and not thinking this evil will bring no future for investment n growth.
