I keep on thinking Teddy´s life path. In after thought, he was still such a young man at the height of his career. He was a week away from his 32rd birthday, when the accident took place 18th March 1982. Teddy was born 26th March 1950. In his performances, Teddy displayed maturity far beyond his years. Think of yourself when thirty and under! What a special man he was, I love him. His spirits lives on and is eternal.God bless his soul and spirit.

The greatest singer EVER before that horrific car crash that took all the power out of his singing. He was never the same again. He was just on the verge of superstardom around the world when that terrible accident happened and put a stop to it.
Ashford and Simpson wrote such a heartfelt love song here in 1978, and Teddy Pendergrass breathed amazing passion into the song. Been listening to TP since 1981.
