- PS4 fan must've died when the family and I were working to clean out all the dust build up. I honestly have no idea what happened to the thing, it was working just fine this morning. Last night however, the fan had started to make a little buzz noise, and got me a little worried.
Considering my parents also got the stand with the extra fans on it too, was a waste of money considering we bought it the day before this happened 🤦♂️ but don't judge me for that, it wasn't my idea lol.
Anyways, enjoy the last breaths and screams of my poor, poor console. Will see you again in Heaven, my friend. You and I will game4life there. 😭 💔

My ps4 just got serviced and even if you place the worlds best cooling systems on it and the worlds largest fan it will still find a way to overheat
I’ve had my base model ps4 since 2015. I’ve spent thousands of hours of my life playing it over the past years. It’s literally an airplane taking off whenever I play a game that takes more than 50 gigs nowadays. But this old dusty machine is one of the most important items to me. If I had to choose my old ps4 over the latest iPhone 15 pro max, I’ll instantly choose my ps4. My ps4 would create memories while the newest iPhone would just be a memory
Just clean it out man and replace the thermal paste and get an ssd it will last even longer!

Yours was probably normal heat up cux of dust after a couple minutes of gameplay, but this ps4 in the video is extra ordinary lol he starts up an app and it turns off before the game’s even loaded.

Because covering the fan. The fan is on the right side. So it probably overheated and was loud because it was trying to get the air out. Put it on the right side

i have used my old ps4 from 2018 or 2017. i had one from 2014-2016 and it broke. then we got a gold and blue one and its still used to this day we lost rhe original controller but the ps4 is painted on and kinda scratched but really good condition

If your consoles are getting noticeably louder when you boot up games it’s most likely because you need to replace the thermal paste. Sony use a really poor quality paste. Also wouldn’t hurt do do a deep dusting
