Life saver dude! Literally just got my passenger side, side mirror dinged by a tree branch yesterday on my 2011 coupe. Found a matching one, right color and all on a website with great reviews for 87 bucks. This was very helpful!

Can you push the mirror forward without it breaking? Some mirrors have a safety feature I was wondering if this was the same on these power mirrors
You can but it can only take so much.
@@inflewence here's my problem someone got mad after we had words on the road, they were driving aggressively towards me and I took a picture to document their car from inside my car out my back window.. their mirror is in the normal position and looks fine but they claimed that I had pushed it forward and cracked the mirror housing. Just wondering if I have photographic proof that they were lying?...
It depends on how hard it was done. Mine cracked and crumbled, doing 1mph out my garage. On another day it may have survived.
Just wanted to send a quick thanks for the vid. I cracked the blinker on my passenger mirror 2013 Gen Coupe, and I'm attempting to only replace that vs the entire mirror assembly. Wish me luck, I'll be disconnecting mine within the hour. At least I know it'll take no crazy effort removing the mirror assembly from the car. Thanks for vid, I appreciate it!
Mirror is off, great video! Toughest part was pulling up my wire harness. I almost wish now I bought a new assembly instead of the $16 LED blinker, I would be already finished lol. I usually attempt minor repairs on my own vehicles and household stuff, and as a female I typically wouldn't have ever, but it's videos like yours that make it seem easy and give me the courage to give it a try. Glad I found your vid, half my battle is over. Thanks again!

My car is a 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0 Turbo and does not have the blinkers on the outside mirrors. Yours must be the 3.6?
No problem. Yeah I have the 3.6. I think it'll probably be relatively the same. You also won't have to worry about the harness.

Can I install turn signal side view mirrors on my base model 2010 genesis coupe 3.8? I already know that I don’t have the same harness for the light feature, so I wanna know what to do from there. Same connection. Just 3 cables.
I'm late as ish! Sorry. I would think you need a harness but you probably figured that out by now.
Dealership tried to charge me 600$, got it done for 120$ and 10 minutes thank you.

My genesis doesn’t have the light on the side mirror the way yours does. I have a 2013 as well. If I buy the one you got will it function or no?
No it won't light up with the blinker. I think there is a conversion kit you can get to make it function though. Probably needs a different wire harness.

Just connect the wire harness. Nothing else.
@@inflewence After researching, I think my issue is I have a 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0t. The 3.8 are the ones that you can just plug in. The 2.0 requires rewiring of some sort
