Great stuff Mike. Couple of good ones I tried recently were the Sherry Cask and the ArdnAmerica tour bottling. Both great sherried versions of Ardnamurchan. Also bought (but not yet cracked) one of the Aquavitae single casks (411) that I am looking forward to opening. I’m a big fan of what they are putting out right now - and also love their transparency.

Well, that's a bit disappointing. First-time viewer of your channel--very happy to stumble upon an Ardnamurchan review, but...agh! I have maybe two short pours left of my 02.22--I couldn't bring myself to kill it off months ago because I fell HARD for it; seeing it go completely would make me miserable. I also kept that little bit because I wanted to compare it to their next release, but I missed the 09.22--that stuff was gone even before I blinked! Now, with even more time and air in that bottle, I wonder if that little bit of the 02 has lost its oomph. I did, however, pick up the 05.23 recently but haven't yet uncorcked it (I actually have, for me, a "hefty' collection on my shelf and don't want too many bottles open at the same time). When I do, I'll get back to you for an update since I'm VERY hopeful it's as delightful as the 02.22.
@@DrumondArt Thanks. Makes sense. By the way, I’ve had the original, the 02.22 and the 09.22. Liked the 09.22 best, but they are close. I have the same 2023 CS bottle you do, unopened. I’m a big Islay fan, but those flavors aren’t what I look for in Ardnamurchan. Still curious though.

Anyone know why one 2023 version has the month (05.23) on the label and the other does not?
I think the 05.23 is a Canada Exclusive, not part of the core line. Unfortunately, can't find it here in the EU.
