      My most exciting pairing is blackhead het clown x leopard het clown. I used my male from last year as a backup, pastel Enchi yellow belly jungle woma het clown. He made some cool clowns with the leopard female last year. I also paired these two with a bamboo het clown and a pinstripe het clown that I am excited about too!

    i am still debating between breeding or not. I know i am gonna get a female blue eyed leucitic for sure, as it's my favorite python breed, but I am worried about if breeding them would be safe in with another snake would be safe unless I know for sure the other's temperament, as I don't want them to fight when introduced.
    should I raise both the leucitic, and the male I want to introduce together to prevent fighting if i decide to breed them?

    • @KINOVAReptiles
      @KINOVAReptiles  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Only two males will sometimes “combat” when you put them together. You’re fine as long as you have a pair :)

    Hi 👋 can you breed your ball python in a vivarium? I don't want to get into collecting snakes and having them in racks but be nice to just have a go once at breeding my female once she gets up to size. Have you ever let a female incubate her own eggs like she would do in the wild ?

    • @KINOVAReptiles
      @KINOVAReptiles  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can! We don't personally have any experience doing it that way, though.

    • @beautyandtheballsjasonandw4483
      @beautyandtheballsjasonandw4483 ปีที่แล้ว

      I paired my first ball pythons in a big enclosure. I turned off the lights and covered the glass door with a sheet to give them privacy. They locked and the female laid her eggs inside her big hide. I probably could’ve let her maternal incubate her eggs under the DHP, but I just put them in the incubator instead. I was nervous since it was my first clutch.

    • @jamiethomas4973
      @jamiethomas4973 ปีที่แล้ว

      @KINOVA I'll have to do a search on you tube see if anyone else has let females incubate her own eggs in their vivs. If it's too much of a ball ache I'll incubate her eggs separately, would like to see if anyone's breed their pythons in a 4ft viv though, like mine has at the moment.

      @Beauty and the Balls (Jason and Whitney) thanks Jason and Whitney that's good to here ! After hearing this I'll definitely give this a try as would like to try breeding my Nuclear Blast female at least once just to see what breeding is like. I also need to choose the right male to compliment her genes. This is all something to think about in a year to 18 months time as just enjoying watching her grow at the moment 😃

    • @KINOVAReptiles
      @KINOVAReptiles  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      99% of people who enjoy Ball Pythons and reptiles in general are not doing it for the money. But following your logic, People probably shouldn’t be interested in real estate either after they check home prices and interest rates…

      @@KINOVAReptiles I’ve been weighing her around once a month and she hasn’t been losing any weight. Thank you for reply I’ve just been assuming she’s just been slowly finishing up building and getting those final few meals in before ovulation.
