Can I say something about 'Boofasa'? As someone who plays that list and talks with others who play it, I do think the little uninkable Sisu will see more play this time around. I'm already putting her back into mine. She banishes 1 drops on play, which deals with so many things - Daisy Duck being the prime contender. There is also Lilo, Baloo etc., basically a lot of hyper aggro. She is also evasive and a shift target for big Sisu. I was in a tournament last weekend and saw a few other Ruby decks including her, including the one that won, so I think she'll be a must for most while Daisy is around. Oh and in a 16 player tournament, it was great to see so much variety! I was a win a box in the UK and the winner was ruby/sapphire but was up against emerald/amethyst. I went up against 4 different decks that day, which made a nice change from last set championships. (And sorry for the long comment!)
Will be interesting to come back to this in a few weeks/months! Though I think if you have more than 1 or 2 decks in the S tier, then it's not really an S tier and more A tier 😅 It's pretty hard to pin an S tier deck right now, cause the meta is so open!
Ruby Amethyst is still S tier imo, people are having great success with it with minor tweaks. It has many options against aggro already available like Rafiki, Mim Fox, Merlin Crab, etc so the deck has just shifted in that direction.
I think Blurple will surprise a lot of people. The lists I've seen are very different to what you have in this video, but it has a lot of options for top-end characters that you can ramp into and is very flexible. Definitely think it'll be up there in the top 5-6 decks once the meta develops a bit more.
Honestly my main concern about Sapphire Amethyst is the match into the blue cow. The blue cow decks really punish traditional Amethyst decks as the Clarabelle can draw like 7 at once unironically
@@SpeciLorcana Honestly, I often find that you're not holding onto too many cards because of your ability to ramp and play out your hand quite aggressively. That said, I haven't really played against much Clarabelle so I could absolutely be underestimating the Moo™
I played emerald sapphire against Speci right after I built it(Soeci, I was the girl who couldn’t shut up because I was “fangirl-ing” lol) and he destroyed me with red green. I think my game was the reason he said this deck needs to hit lol. I mulliganed 4, pulled 3 songs and a Belle). He played deceiver twice and pulled song, brawled the one card I had out, and then cruised to victory. Biggest slaughter I’ve had to endure, and now it’s on TH-cam in perpetuity lol. I built an Amethyst Steel deck for an enchanted tournament and went into top cut as a 3 seed. It’s closest to the Re-Pete deck but I named it Operation Dead Daisy. I went 2-0 going second both games against amber steel, lemon lime and emerald amethyst (EA was built around Jafar). 2 rounds went to a draw because they were against Ruby Sapphire and time went out (should never happen, I know, maybe bc there were a lot of new cards out there). I lost to Emerald Amethyst Tempo. All this to say that Amethyst Steel Re-Pete type decks are highly favored against aggro, even match ups with Rubu Sapphire , Sapphire Steel and RA, but not great against tempo or that blue green deck that gives me nightmares 😂
I’ve been play testing with this hyper aggro build and can’t find a line that works against 9/10 opening hands in steel songs. I know that’s a hard mathcup, but it seems like it could be brought closer to a 50/50 maybe? I think you mentioned library being too slow, but I’m wondering if it can give enough recovery from a board wipe to re-fuel and win on the following turn, especially with us playing the gathering strength and wisdom and brooms. I’m new to the game, though - this is largly my mtg and hearthstone bias talking and I haven’t tested with library yet. Archimedes and gale have also felt awkward to play with the speed of the deck and ink count. My wins are usually with 4 ink or less and I find myself wanting more 1/2 drops with just 2-3 more cards per game rather than spending the ink to play one of those.
In the bluerple deck that you made, I was more leaning to reflection instead of it calls me, and maybe bruno madrigal in the mix. You can put the three card in the order you want and then put the top card of your deck (the least one that you want) in your inkwell and then exert bruno for three lore and a card, that you also know the name of 😂
There’s def value in Ursula singer 4 over hiss, also going to 3 Bruno 3 forgotten me and 3 kids allows 3 (1) Kida. With that set up you can kida on 1, Ursula 2 and shift sing UTS on 3 into aggro. I’ve also playtested Naveen but not great there.
I think that Amber and Sapphire haven't found a meta identity yet. I've been working around a location aggro deck that utilizes the new King Candy , pride rock, and fix it Felix cards. It's a silly deck but does really well so far after some testing. Something to keep an eye on for sure!
I've been creating a purple steel deck that focuses on exerting and eliminating everything and obvi running Pete w it. the strategy also works with ruby amethyst but I've been doing very well at locals where they are running the steel song deck etc, would love to see someone with your expertise take a go at it. using new anna (both ones) and 2 drop Pinocchio as exert cards and bouncing them to constantly attack and destroy whatever is on the field.

Their is a lot of card draw now for steel jafar S tier. Add some aggro in the beginning. 1 drop 2 quester malificent, mr smee and that robin hood shift on 3 is too much to deal with
Can't understand running Blue Steel without Pete, it's impressive Put it down before be prep or together with a high questing Charakter, won me a lot of games till now
Would love to hear your thoughts on a draw engine I came up with in Amber/Amethyst that works much better now! The strategy revolves around Rapunzel - Gifted Artist (the Floodborn Rapunzel) and Maleficent - Mistress of All Evil (the legendary). Rapunzel draws a card whenever damage is removed, and Maleficent removes damage whenever a card is drawn. The main thing that is a problem is it doesn't pop off unless you can make it to turn 5 and you have both cards in your hand. The new chromicons will make this strategy work even better now though. If only there was a card that would give all of your characters damage, like there is in ruby, then it would be even better!
One thing that might make the deck work even better would be to have the 2 Minnie Mouse cards from Amber this set in there! The little Minnie removes damage, and the big Minnie would allow you to search for whichever part you're missing!
Played RA at a lot of locals and beating hyper aggro going first isn’t too bad going second it’s super hard to win. Wondering what changes could be made if any to make it a bit better
I think Amethyst Chromicon (and friends from the other side) help a ton with consistency with hyper aggro. Friends is kind of a take or leave it but can be sung by donald/baloo/goat or inked when you don't actually need the draw.
I dont like friends in aggro since you'd rather quest than sing. The Chromicon is high up on my list of potential cards but I didn't love it in my testing so far
In theory, card becomes worse the more copies of it you run, since you're character density percentage decreases. That is why I only put one in the deck. But its possible you run more
If you’re ranking blurple based on this list… it makes sense. But it’s not a good deck list imo because it isn’t utilizing all the great cards in tjis pairing.
Nice to see you pit the actual best deck on top considering how little content creators have been covering it. It’s boring and has barely any new cards in it but it answers steelsong and aggro well which dominate most of the format. It’s main weakness is Ruby Am which doesn’t have consistent matchups against the other meta stars. I think the meta will go back to a similar paper rock scissors format just like the past with amber emerald functionally replacing Bucky as the deck to beat. Its boring and not great for content creation, but someone has to be honest with the people.

Try Pete repeat, it have very potential, it have so much Card draw, you Counter so much Decks it will be in s Tier. Aggro is no Problem, steelsong is no Problem and lenonlime and Ruby amtheyst also no Problem:) it is very strong. Vs blue it is sometimes hard because you get Eyertime in endgame
imo Amber Steel songs will get good representation early on until people remember Ursula Deceiver, Bare Nec and now Pete are still a thing edit: and Daisy
I love the mill but I really think mill, Red Hood action, and similar roulette style decks are just too random and currently cannot be built with consistency. At best those types of decks would be C Tier. Ruby Amethyst is definitely the sleeper every set just due to the fact it is the most flexible deck that can warp to what the meta needs it to be and has shown this every set.
The Emerald Ruby deck is really consistent. I'm currently at 24 actions which is around 90% hit rate & actually considering increasing it to around 26 actions
@@SpeciLorcana consistently hitting an action is one thing, but knowing it is a game of chance of hitting the removal card I need vs hitting a dead action is what I am hung up on. It just feels way more chaotic than searching with Ariel in steel song. Could be completely wrong because it doesn't fit my play style, but just feels more glass canon than other decks
I dont Agree with : Blue Cow and actions should be on B. Blue Wheel on S. Blurple is A. Repete A as well. RA i find it.funny how much hate you.give.it and keep been proved wrong.
Don't be afraid to experiment with these lists & try out different things! The meta is WIDE OPEN & there is SO much room for creativity ❤

Which of the S tier decks is the easiest to play? Hyper Aggro?
I feel like you put too many things in S & A Tier. So many new unproven decks taking spots where they're probably closer to B or C Tier.
My prediction the top 5 meta decks will not include Hyper Aggro, Green Actions or Blue Cow.

You run 4 invite to the ball in red/amber Mufusa. It's 2 ink draw 2, it's one of the games best card in that deck.

I agree with the tier list overall, however some of the Decks themselves looked bad. So many pet cards and new cards.
