I wish I had had YOU as my first & only teachers. She didn’t care for my style. So interesting to me, because I do so many of the same things you do … self-taught, experimenting, no beginning objective in mind and loving using different tools and types of paint!!!

Thank you for telling us that almost all the time you do not know what you are going to paint when you start a painting. I rarely know that myself and it almost always changes throughout my painting . I like surprises as well.
I want to get back it to art, and you have inspired me to do abstracts thank you, I think it will help clear my mind to from constantly thinking on life's problems. 😊
No attachment to the outcome is key comes from experience which creates freedom.
This is Great and very inspiring. I have been looking at buying an Abstract painting which I like but I simply cannot afford it , so I think I’m going to buy the paints and brushes myself and have a go with these techniques. Thank You Adele😍

Your hair (colors/hues/textures) go SO WELL with your raw umber “depth-creating background!” Slightly ‘ashier,’ but so harmonious and complementary :~)
I’ve not tried abstract. I’ve always leaned more toward real objects, animals, people, etc. but I love you technique and using unusual items to paint with. I’ll have to give it a try!

I took a couple classes in Paris. The teacher used similar techniques and style as yours especially with base coat and using a lot of water to let it drip:) created great effects! Love how you tied branches to the brushes, loved to try this one. Thanks again!
The brush with the branch is just an added tool which helps you not have control over the mark making. I love the surprises that happen with it. 🌸

I seen atleast 20 good paintings out of this one painting...you should take photos of the painting every couple of minutes or so...you would have so many cool photographs and differant paintings...

I love taking photos of each layer of underpainting and create prints from them. Taking photos is a good tip. ❤

It's so fun to see that you're also a "branch painter" 😂 I find long, skinny sticks on my walks and I especially love the ones that are not straight. I tape these long, crooked sticks to my brushes and make uncontrolled marks and lines on my canvas. It's so much fun! To me it almost feels like the long, awkward stick allows the paint to just go on the canvas any way it wants to, - and the lines look so organic and surprising.

Love this!! I love the long sticks on brushes! I am going to do this with my camp kids. Help them free up their ideas and allow for exciting outcomes. I learned a lot from your process. The dark background works for me- and I like the way you roll with it and let it move you. Thank you!

Check out Scott industrial towels. Mechanics use them. They are almost like fabric, very durable so you use fewer of them than regular paper towels.

The first color you put on top of the white with brown and you covered it with the whole canvas with brown I was really upset when you covered that beautiful brown and different tones of the brown it was very nice you covered the whole thing over with other colors I love the music and I love your personality
