Arkham Knight pretty much surpassed that "Samaritan" tech demo that EPIC games made years before the PS4 and Xbox One came out in terms of visuals. Rocksteady squeezed every bit of graphical juice that UE3 had to offer.
This game came out in 2015?! That means this game is almost 10 years old! This game looks better than a good chunk of games coming out now. Truly insane.
I bet Arkham not only looks great but probably can run at some pretty high FPS as well! A lot of games around that time period absolutely slap graphically and are very well optimized! Some examples of gems of the past would be The Witcher 3 (2015 - now with next gen graphics upgrade as well), Starwars battlefront II (2017), Titanfall 2 (2016), Battlefield 1 (2016), Forza Horizon 4 (2018), and Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018).

Jack, it's great to see you play Arkham Knight! All 4 games in the series are incredible Batman stories but Arkham Knight's gameplay was absolutely the best. I hope to see more videos from you playing this game and would love to see some predator challenges... I bet you'd be really good at them.

Fact. I've been replaying it with the new suit, but I wished they had added a performance mode for console, but other than that, this game still beats most games today.
Despite being marred by a bad release on PC, it is one of the best games of all time. It is also still one of the best looking games ever made, and it looks worse on youtube than it does in game because youtube is terrible with the rain.
This IS and will be forever my favorite series. The only game series I wished never stopped. AA, AC, AO and AK all 200% still wanted more. Sad WB and Rocksteady went the other way.........
Damn, hearing Kevin Conroy the first time in awhile is something special…Grew up to that voice coming out of my favorite Batman’s. Very comforting! RIP Kevin Conroy. Thanks Jack for reminding us about him.
I didn't think it would be possible to get better than Arkham City, but the addition of the batmobile was absolutely nuts. The Riddler trophies would keep me busy for hours. Few games have nailed the main/side quest dynamic as well as this one. The Easter eggs alone are enough to keep any Batman fanboy endlessly busy. They really did Batman right and this particular game was the pinnacle of the series.
I've played this game 3 times. And I still watchiend this video. Arkham Batman is THE Batman for me, and the whole series has a special place in my heart.
have been replaying the entire series in canon order (it is so damn good) and am so happy to get back to Arkham Knight. It feels so rare to play through a series and see how much better every iteration becomes.

Jack that video looked beautiful! I knocked the res down to 1440 (my native) and the rain effects when you fly and whip around killing people just make it looks so muddy and blurry compared to the 8K.
