God. Dammit. I cannot adequately express how much I love Cameron’s writing, especially those epigraphs They’re always just... so, so compelling and interesting
Saw the vod, loving this series. Obv here for the engagement and to add the view, this series should be seen by any sci-fi fan. So good. Ty lrr peeps for the continued hardwork. Regards.
This is the first horror game I've seen where the horror is happening *by design* to the NPCs and not the players. And the player's aren't the ones playing the horrors.
GASPED again at the end of this episode! I know this was posted a while ago, but it’s so good. I also love the juxtaposition with the humor of Finch being happily oblivious 💯💯💯🤌🤌🤌
No, it's the story of the Fisher King from Arthurian legend. In the Session 0, there was a reference to Corbinec, which is the name of the Fisher Kings castle
@@martsvend i realized that after the next episode. However, I do find it interesting that the tail is about a king who was supposed to bring a gift to mankind, but who was burned by it and their land was eventually burned. The emphasis that cam places on the burning and ash reminded me of the fire from dark souls, and now I’m wondering if anyone had considered Dark Souls as a take on that Tale?
@@thecoolerrats7144 You're conflating the burning sickness of the Fisher King and his land with the fire from Dark Souls. The burning sickness was a punishment for hubris and approaching the divine with wrong intentions. In Dark Souls the fire is a boon for Lord Gwyn, so much so that he immolates himself in order to keep the fire going.

I don't play or actively have much interest in D&D, but I watch Cameron's sessions solely because he's such a great storyteller.
I agree. He's quite talented at this. I wouldn't be sad if he became the Dice Friends Resident DM.
I love Cam's interpretation of how an alien views the androids.
"what the fuck, did a piece of landscape just attack me? naw, that doesnt happen"
Gray: *bonk*
Finch, meanwhile, stands completely still in the empty garage, "Killer Queen" playing from his tape recorder.
AAAAAA THIS IS SO GOOOOOD
This and Heat Death are seriously the best ALIEN content since the second film.
I love sussing out Cameron's expanded Alien lore. He has clearly spent a lot of time thinking about how xenomorphs should work
Agreed!
50:50 Why would firefighters have guns, they're not prepared for a firefight! Wait...
“Gidget, behind you”
*GASP*
(Actually gasped out loud)

All of their faces when Gidget found Ellis...
✨👌✨
Highlight of my week! Thank you so much for all the work that goes into this
-- Know any warm, wet places around here?
-- You guys have the weirdest pick-up lines.
Wow, didn't expect this today! So intense!
1:44:51 Meanwhile a Will Wheaton has just rolled another series of 1s.

57:12 Which video would that be? Does anybody know?
Looks like TH-cam ate the link, but it's Loading Time Digest May 2017, around the 35 second mark
@@snowcookiemedia Thank you
its like a *TONK* noise
The moment he said "warm and wet" for places the alien might go, my first thought was the embryo facility. I have a bad feeling about this.
Raw Animal Panic sounds like a band Katleen would listen to.
Ever more of this forever please
@34:00 androids of wisdom
My pulse rifle is very engaged with this content.
i need more Cam run Alien
Cameron would be my god if I wasn’t already a follower of Positive Seal.
only Positive Seal can guide us to salvation
Nothing says you can't have more than one god
@@snowcookiemedia Well, there is the First Commandment, but I don't think the Positive Seal or Cameron demand that one.
Is it just me or is the parable at the beginning the story of King Gwyn from Dark Souls?

What even is this?
This is a roleplaying campaign of a TTRPG called ALIEN.
@@snowcookiemedia Being run by Canadians, no less.
episode three of this specific campaign, probably worth going back through the dice friends playlist and watching episode 0 first
Ah we have new blood! Bring fourth the sacrificial altar!
2:29 "Him"? Kings are male, otherwise he'd be a queen?
A comment.
