I have that same Amp (Slaved to a Marshall MG100DFX).
I also use a fostex for recording. But mine is bigger - it's a fostex model 160.
Also this atmospheric doom metal jam was amazing.

I want to record electronic drums out to this to try and get some gritty drums, does it have that warm gritty sound?

Yeah especially if you use poor tape quality. Like the really old style cassette tape

👍 Had one of those DMs,got it the day they came out and it was a trooper for a decade of recording. When I finally sold it used on ebay it still got a fair amount. Great vid!

Yeah they defiantly ain’t cheap to buy nowadays. I even had to save up to buy one back in the 90s!
