Going to a terribly sad day when we all have to say goodbye to this lovely lady. The last remaining Golden Girl and one of my all time favorite actresses. Always loved her spars with Carol Burnett on the Carol Burnett Show/Mama's Family and her St. Olaf stories on the Golden Girls. Betty White is a national treasure and her compassion towards humans and animals is a testament to what kind of beautiful soul that that sweet woman has. God bless her.

But I was never focused on Betty White's career, one way or the other. I didn't know her the way her fans did. I loved Bea Arthur, but it is said that she had such an ongoing feud with Betty White. Props to White for being classy and continuing to champion how much she loved and appreciated Bea despite it all.
Wasn't so much a feud...they didn't do anything to hurt each other and remained professional. Bea's personality just didn't mesh well with Betty's personally...but onscreen is a different story.
When people say god takes the good ones too soon, I say Betty White has been here a long while and has brought laughter and joy to millions of people, he did a service to the world blessing us with her presence.
I remember being little and watching her on "Golden Girls". She just gave my little kid heart a warm feeling. She was that nice lady your blessed to have an encounter with on any random day.

Watching this, 4 days after her passing. I didn’t know Betty White (or watched her shows), but she seemed extremely humble and kind-hearted.

Betty was everyones' wonderful grandma, or at least the one we wished we had. At long last she can join her dear husband and the other golden gals she loved so much. I loved Bea Arthur, but it is said that she had such an ongoing feud with Betty White. Props to White for being classy and continuing to champion how much she loved and appreciated Bea despite it all.
Wasn't so much a feud...they didn't do anything to hurt each other and remained professional. Bea's personality just didn't mesh well with Betty's personally...but onscreen is a different story.
When people say god takes the good ones too soon, I say Betty White has been here a long while and has brought laughter and joy to millions of people, he did a service to the world blessing us with her presence.

I remember being little and watching her on "Golden Girls". She just gave my little kid heart a warm feeling. She was that nice lady your blessed to have an encounter with on any random day.
As far as I'm concerned, she was the BLUEPRINT of what it is to be a DECENT human.
