When people say she died too soon at 99 that says everything about how wonderful this woman is and will be missed.

She won her 8th Emmy for this episode. She didn't even really want to do it. Imagine being so good at what you do that you win an award for something that you thought you'd fail at. Legendary.

Yes! That was so hilarious when she said that about Facebook. She made me laugh every time I saw her on T.V as a guest, or hosting SNL. She will now be with her beloved husband, #AllenLudden . She absolutely loved and adored him. 😢😢

I've seen so many hosts come out and flop their monologue. She pulls it off at 88 and is sharp as a tack. Truly an inspiration to those of us scared to death of growing older.

No kidding. My mom died of Covid on New Years day 2021 and Betty died on New Years eve 2021. Terrible way to enter and leave the year. RIP dear Betty.

Going on a big hayride with Betty White would've been such a glorious experience.
Not to mention she aged very gracefully, back then in 2010 and even recently before her passing. Such a beyond talented and hilarious person yet still very humble, kind, and sweet as homemade cookies.

The worst was when the projector would jam and it took forever to fix it. You weren't allowed to leave while they were fixing it and had to just sit there and wait
She’s the only person that makes me feel like I could enjoy life past 65. lol We need more Bettys in the world.

99 YEARS OLD. AND SHES STILL FRESH.
She’s a National Treasure. She represents the “best” of the industry. As Americans we collectively love her, and get her. The lady is fantastic!! My Parents are 89 and 88 and are from Los Angeles. They too love Betty who mostly lives in Carmel. She was terrific friends with the lovely Doris Day. She met everyone. We’ll have her many more years. I’m lucky my Parents have each other. They’re so much in love. When Betty lost Allen Ludden, her husband in 81, that was truly sad. For 40 years she’s made us laugh without the love of her heart. Life is something else. Maybe we filled in a bit, and continue to love her immensely. I know I do.
She may be the only thing that actually brings us all together. Betty could bring peace to the nation and make it whole again.

Most of the time you would just see the band doing their job................... it was a lot more than that this time they were a part of a very special moment. An amazing woman who bought us laughter in all of our lives spanning many many years 🌹❤️
This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment for everybody (audience, band, SNL cast, stagehands, etc,) to see an icon in person. This is something the people is going to remember for the rest of their lives. For the cast, it's golden (no pun intended). lol
I've watched this so many times and I always feel overwhelmed with joy when she walks out. She was amazing.

I really like the “stick around, we’ll be right back!” It’s so genuine and it totally takes the viewer back to simpler times in TV. If there was a single literal time that the host could not end with “Live from New York…” I think this was it. Her career was truly trailblazing and her heart shines through each and every minute I see her on the big (and little) screen. Watching Golden Girls for the first time this year is truly a delight. Rest in Power, Betty White! You are so SO loved!
