Hi, running barefoot actually changes the way we run, it normally makes us typically move to a more mid foot landing as our own body has an instinct to protect ourself. However as we evolved to use trainers ourdoors we see such variations in running gaits I believe. So when we do these gait analysis things we tend to use a pair of neutral shoes. You can read more about running bare foot running in a book called Running with the Kenyans by Adharanand Finn.
Our gait changes on treadmills, when barefoot, shod and even when using “control” or “sham” flat medium shore density inner soles, we are limited in what variables we can measure but the video is a good starting point
Thanks for popping in, it was great to have you down!
Very interesting 👍
Thanks for the video. I liked the insight at visiting the store
Hope it was useful. Thanks for the view
Algorithm contributer. 💪
Hi, is the gait analysis free in Up and running shops?
Yes it sure is!
Won’t having trainers on alter gait, would it not be more accurate running bare foot?
