About the song "Rechenka": an old ritual song about an orphan bride. The girl has no parents, and there is no one to bless her marriage. There are a lot of people in the house, but there is neither father nor mother. She goes to the river, sits down and cries. The river in Ancient Russia was considered the border between the world of the living and the dead. You can hear Diana singing in a whisper, it's the spirit of her late mother responding to her. In ancient Russia, sad songs were sung at weddings to scare away evil, and the marriage of the young was happy. Previously, such songs were called "crying". The figures behind Diana in black are the spirits of water and forest.

Это старинная свадебная обрядовая песня,это как пазл ,она состоит из фраз взятых из обрядовых песен.Там где поется шепотом это как бы слова умершей матери, ведь на Руси издревле считалось что река это граница между миром живых и мертвых,как и в мифологии других стран. Так вот приходила к реке чтобы рассказать матери о том что ее отдают за нелюбимого,в чужую семью,попросить благословения и поплакать.

Ну да! ДА - Великая! Считается, что даже не из нашей галактики, но точная информация, увы, отсутствует. В её голосе и крик птицы, и плач младенца, и грохот извержения и плеск лесного ручейка. Можно с умным видом пытаться за счёт анализа втиснуть её голос в рамки... наверное. Ибо как проанализировать и объяснить необъяснимое? Просто в земных языках нет таких слов.
И. говоря о языках, перевод не может передать эмоционального смысла текста, в отличии от голоса, - и вы это ощутили сейчас)
По количеству используемых вокальных техник и приёмов, я считаю, это самая сложная песня в исполнении ДА. Момент, который Вы сравнили с йодлем, на самом деле "рыдание", хоть техники и схожи. Можно легко сравнить, прослушав "Время йодля" на Голос-Дети, где ДА всего то 13 лет!

Hi Jesse, this isn't singing, this is musical theater at its best. Diana's acting in this short song is also remarkable. A singing teacher once commented that if he wrote down all of the singing techniques Diana uses here, it would be a complete book of singing techniques. I have no idea about singing techniques. He's certainly exaggerating. But for me it describes very well how extraordinary Diana was at the age of 14.

Йодль- это фишка Дианы. Она виртуозно его использует во многих композициях в том или ином виде. Однажды Диану спросили сложно ли было освоить технику йодля, она ответила, что нет, не слишком, недели за две всё получилось)))
