Monique go to Quartzsite, Az. They have over 1million acres of free BLM land to stay on for 2weeks at a time . The first week of Sept. until the first week of April the following year it’s less than $200 for 7 months and you have garbage dump, water refill, plus you’re 15 miles from the California border! I’ve mentioned it before!
🌴☀️I not only have a vitamix (not enuff power in the van) but also the Nama (the first model with a small smaaaaalll loading shoot at the top) bec of the size (in the minivan) & it’s like 100 something watts & it’s masticating which is the entire point of juicing imo 😱. I will say the Viramix does all the things like making my cashew milk but I got the Nama so I can have juice to drink & of course sorbets lol. APP: for recipes I do remember that but I thought it was like notes where you organize meals for like a whole week & it made it easier to figure out what to prep/shop for so your not all Willy nilly buying stuff in the store lol. I need to do something like that but I usually eat the same things over & over especially if I’m avoiding cooking…lately in the truck I eat raw…it’s quicker although my Cosori air fryer helps a lot…I’ve been buying fava bean tofu ALOT (thanks 💗Mo!!!!) it such a better option for melanin bodies imo v/s soy. Life: I’ve been around since humble beginnings or slightly after AAAAAND I vanlife so to not hear from you for the most part is entirely relative 🤭 I do get it. Been going thru a lot with trucking however which I’ll tell ya about but I knew beet harvest would take a lot of time and energy not to mention will power & with the business I knew that would take a lot of mental real estate at the least. I've learned to get my tires from Walmart (20 years now). They have the best warranty, and they come with roadside assistance, tire changing. If you get a flat, they replace the tire, and the warranty starts back over for that tire.

I LOVE my vitamix. The best part about vitamix smoothies is that there is no waste. With juicers you either have to commit to doing something with all the pulp and produce carcasses leftover. With vitamix its all blended up so it's not only nutritionally more dense and better for you, but it's also cleaner and less waste. Plus the vitamix is multi functional - you can't make hummus, nut butter, and soup (plus heat it) in a juicer. So for space saving, that's good too. I honestly don't know how they stay profitable - my beast NEVER breaks, plus don't they have a lifetime guarantee 😂
Yes to all of this 🙌🏾!!! I feel the same way. There’s no way I’m making something with the leftover pulp every single week. It felt like such a waste. And cleaning a juicer 🙄🙄…no thank you! Love my Vitamix!!

No, living with my parents again my setback all of the progress we've made on improving our relationship. Trust me, it's best if I don't live with them, lol! When I'm in their area, I'll spend 2-3 days with them every now and then and it's a GREAT reset for me.

Bad Idea...black women usually get lost in the Spiritual/yoga communities. Better to just find someone who appreciates her nomadic lifestyle...maybe a trade for her to make a special meal 2 weekends per month in exchange for a place to park on property.
Hi! I do know someone in the area I'm in and I'm thinking of asking if I can park behind their townhome. I've also recently found a couple of free campgrounds an hour or so from my area, so I'm thinking of trying those out first. I always prefer going the route that doesn't require me to ask someone for help. Even if I offer to pay rent, I feel like issues/drama/tension could arise from me being there and I like to avoid drama 😊. We'll see, though. I'll keep you all updated.

Side note on the tires, it also depends how many miles you are putting on your tires and the terrain as to how long they will last. But I see you have a solution for that by buying a set that will suit your lifestyle better. Great video, thanks for taking us along!

Thank you! Did you meet Laurie or Lisa? Those are the only two people I know who go down there after the beet harvest. I don't use a meal planner app; it's just a basic note app called Notebook. In my old video, I shared how I plan my meals and type them in the Notebook app to stay organized 😊.

Thank you for the tip! During my first beet harvest experience, I was the "Operator Relief", which meant I relieved the operator during her breaks. That's how I learned. So when I came back the next year, they made me the main operator since I already had a little experience.

Yes!!!! Finally girl! Missed ya! Girl, yes! I got a job offer in Oregon as a driver, I wouldn't have even had to drive my van to do the job, unfortunately, I cannot be on call and working at night due to my eyesight, didn't realize that when I applied...but at least I got the offer! It's motivating me to think outside the box for what I can do this summer, I need to leave Phoenix FINALLY! I feel the same way about letting out the cries, I still have pain in my soul from losing the man that I loved for so long, having to walk away was the hardest thing I've ever had to do and I still get sad that he's not around, but then I remember all the hell he put me through and after all this time, now I look back at it differenlty...like why the HELL did I put up w/it!???? For so long???? smdh So, I do the same thing, I will NOT skip those songs and let those tears fall! Hoopefully soon, all that will get out and I have been talking to someone new, we got everything in common, including wanting a van life and land, like you and your guy, so...things might be chaning (unfortunately he lives on the east coast, plans on moving to AZ soon!) Hey Laura!! I get what you’re saying about feeling motivated due to the job offer, even though you can’t accept the job. It’s a small win. That’s how I feel when I get a little sale from my business. I’m not making thousands of dollars a month yet, but that one little sale lets me know I can do this. It lets me know I’m going in the right direction. And I SO relate to you questioning why you put up with crap for so long from your ex. I remember when I got to that point with my ex. At some point, I had to take responsibility for what I CHOSE to put up with. I’m so happy you’re moving on to bigger and better things 😘❤️❤️.

Headaches in cold weather sucks. I tend to use Vicks vaper rub on my forehead along with chest and under nose. It will work on aches and pains in small doses too. It helps to relax your muscles an distracts from headaches and pains. Just a suggestion. Also when you have a cold, rub some on your feet and put socks on it helps with lessening a cough. Hope you are well. We had extremely cold weather last week, this week its been in the 40's to low 50's, in Wisconsin.

I put my parent's address on everything. I've spoken to other nomads who get an address in South Dakota. Apparently, they are very welcoming to nomads and don't require you to have a physical home in order to obtain a physical address for mail, insurance, etc... purposes. You could look into that!

I get the constant moving. I don't know if you ever want to do it, but I have a napier sportz suv tent that attaches to my minivan and stands alone. I'm on the east coast so I rent a cheap campsite for a week, even two, whenever I need a break. If I'm going to be in an area for awhile, like a month, I research safe areas and then go to local yardsale groups and ask if anyone in those areas will rent me a parking space in their yard. That's not the norm but it works. It has never cost more than $200, sometimes $100, for the month.
Thank you! We haven’t decided on a specific state, yet. So far, we’ve looked at land in the Midwest, northeast, and the south. The PNW would be great, but land is too pricey.
I’ve never thought of using bok choy for juice or smoothed. I really love to eat it. I like veggie juicing because I don’t like icy drinks unless it’s super hot outside. Thanks very much for sharing.

I tried that once! I should talk about this in a storytime video or something because it did not work out. Since childhood, I've been someone who doesn't like sleeping in other people's homes, and especially their beds. I guess that's weird, I don't know, but I'm the same way as an adult. As soon as I walked in the hotel, I felt homesick (technically car-sick because this was when I lived in my Buick). After about an hour, I went back to the car and stayed there all night in the hotel parking lot, lol. I only used the hotel for showers. I've never tried getting a hotel again 🤷🏾♀️.

Beets are really good for you. High in fiber & nutrients. Good for the blood. I put a small cut up beet in my smoothie every day. I had no idea, until watching this video, the hard labor that goes into beet harvesting. I am sad to see this hard labor. Thank you for your hard work to get this nutritious food to the American people.
These beets are actually used to make sugar! They’re sugar beets, so I can’t lie…they are not the most nutritious, lol. Still the work that goes into growing and harvesting them is rough! Thank you 😊.
Asalamo alaikom sister I really enjoy watching your videos. I noticed you mentioned you needed a place to stay long term and not move around much. I just wanted to let you know that BLM land and national park you can camp in your van for two weeks a time and every two weeks you just move to another national park or BLM Land. This will help you rest easily. There are also rest stops.

USAA used to be an excellent company across the board. The company seems to have declined sadly, the insurance, particularly auto isn’t as solid as it once was and it’s sad to see. Their roadside service is contracted out and at times it is horrible, what’s worse is that they don’t care about it.
Between you and I there's a big difference in age but we have so much in common. ( except for the eating clean part... I would love to adapt this behavior) I am confident you will be ok
❤ I feel the same way about regular jobs and apartment living. I think of those as the 2 soul destroyer’s. Wish I had the chance to do van life earlier and before being forced into apartment living. I almost lost my mind and I never wanted to return to that life again. 🙏🏽❤

Thank you for the tip! During my first beet harvest experience, I was the "Operator Relief", which meant I relieved the operator during her breaks. That's how I learned. So when I came back the next year, they made me the main operator since I already had a little experience.

Girl, yes! I got a job offer in Oregon as a driver, I wouldn't have even had to drive my van to do the job, unfortunately, I cannot be on call and working at night due to my eyesight, didn't realize that when I applied...but at least I got the offer! It's motivating me to think outside the box for what I can do this summer, I need to leave Phoenix FINALLY!
I feel the same way about letting out the cries, I still have pain in my soul from losing the man that I loved for so long, having to walk away was the hardest thing I've ever had to do and I still get sad that he's not around, but then I remember all the hell he put me through and after all this time, now I look back at it differenlty...like why the HELL did I put up w/it!???? For so long???? smdh So, I do the same thing, I will NOT skip those songs and let those tears fall! Hoopefully soon, all that will get out and I have been talking to someone new, we got everything in common, including wanting a van life and land, like you and your guy, so...things might be chaning (unfortunately he lives on the east coast, plans on moving to AZ soon!)

Hey Laura!! I get what you’re saying about feeling motivated due to the job offer, even though you can’t accept the job. It’s a small win. That’s how I feel when I get a little sale from my business. I’m not making thousands of dollars a month yet, but that one little sale lets me know I can do this. It lets me know I’m going in the right direction.
And I SO relate to you questioning why you put up with crap for so long from your ex. I remember when I got to that point with my ex. At some point, I had to take responsibility for what I CHOSE to put up with. I’m so happy you’re moving on to bigger and better things 😘❤️❤️.

Headaches in cold weather sucks. I tend to use Vicks vaper rub on my forehead along with chest and under nose. It will work on aches and pains in small doses too. It helps to relax your muscles an distracts from headaches and pains. Just a suggestion. Also when you have a cold, rub some on your feet and put socks on it helps with lessening a cough. Hope you are well. We had extremely cold weather last week, this week its been in the 40's to low 50's, in Wisconsin.

I put my parent's address on everything. I've spoken to other nomads who get an address in South Dakota. Apparently, they are very welcoming to nomads and don't require you to have a physical home in order to obtain a physical address for mail, insurance, etc... purposes. You could look into that!

I get the constant moving. I don't know if you ever want to do it, but I have a napier sportz suv tent that attaches to my minivan and stands alone. I'm on the east coast so I rent a cheap campsite for a week, even two, whenever I need a break. If I'm going to be in an area for awhile, like a month, I research safe areas and then go to local yardsale groups and ask if anyone in those areas will rent me a parking space in their yard. That's not the norm but it works. It has never cost more than $200, sometimes $100, for the month.

I tried that once! I should talk about this in a storytime video or something because it did not work out. Since childhood, I've been someone who doesn't like sleeping in other people's homes, and especially their beds. I guess that's weird, I don't know, but I'm the same way as an adult. As soon as I walked in the hotel, I felt homesick (technically car-sick because this was when I lived in my Buick). After about an hour, I went back to the car and stayed there all night in the hotel parking lot, lol. I only used the hotel for showers. I've never tried getting a hotel again 🤷🏾♀️.

Beets are really good for you. High in fiber & nutrients. Good for the blood. I put a small cut up beet in my smoothie every day. I had no idea, until watching this video, the hard labor that goes into beet harvesting. I am sad to see this hard labor. Thank you for your hard work to get this nutritious food to the American people.
These beets are actually used to make sugar! They’re sugar beets, so I can’t lie…they are not the most nutritious, lol. Still the work that goes into growing and harvesting them is rough! Thank you 😊.

Asalamo alaikom sister I really enjoy watching your videos. I noticed you mentioned you needed a place to stay long term and not move around much. I just wanted to let you know that BLM land and national park you can camp in your van for two weeks a time and every two weeks you just move to another national park or BLM Land. This will help you rest easily. There are also rest stops.

USAA used to be an excellent company across the board. The company seems to have declined sadly, the insurance, particularly auto isn’t as solid as it once was and it’s sad to see. Their roadside service is contracted out and at times it is horrible, what’s worse is that they don’t care about it.
