When I joined the British Army in 1985, UK defence budget was 5.3%. When I left in 1997 it was 2.56%! There is no way you can say 2.5% by 2030 is a 'war mode'.

I used to live in communist Poland for 20 years, than I was able to get out and the rest is as they say 'a history', but I still remember how horrible and scary the Russian dominance and presence was, even in Poland. After the fall of Soviet Union we have had so many hopes for them, but they seem to be unable to evolve. We have all some "grievances," but important is the Union and a view to the future...
I once flew Lech Wałęsa from Houston to Mexico. He was there just as a regular passenger. After we landed I spoke with him and thanked him for what he did in Gdansk, and how it precipitated the fall of the iron curtain. He was a very softly spoken man and said something like I did what I had to do. I grew up with a split Germany and the 'threat' of MAD. I am glad that Poland, along with many other former soviet bloc countries are now free to pursue their own paths. It's tough, but hang in there.

Hello Artur, I've been watching your channel for a long time and I'm also a subscriber. I'm not a war-geek but I do like what I see on your videos. They are very understandable and I like to see real authentic facts as I have been in support of Ukraine's victory since the war started. There are a number of YT channels that also cover the war and other aspects of Ukraine. Few, however have female presenters and I was dismayed to discover that most seemed to use a presentation formula based on 'the influencer' phenomenon. I was pleasantly surprised and amazed to find Mariia Veshchunova, multi-lingual Ukrainian lady who has her channel mainly focused on war activities. She's very serious and professional and usually ahead with events. It's great to see a female with her talent. I watch your channel each day and will continue to do so except if YT blocks or demonytise you. Thanks again for keeping the world informed. Best wishes Allan ✌️🇺🇦
