I've got this 168,158,and the super thin 700. The 700 is the best of all of them! I've also replaced the watch bands on all of them to an adjustable, expladable band that makes them a snap to put on and take off.
For many years it was my only watch in my collection. Always liked its electroluminiscent light. From last year I started collecting watches & I bought a second one. The old one is still works and I haven't changed the battery in 8 years, But it's all beat up. You can't never go wrong with an A168w. Nice & quick review.

A really great watch for the price though and perfect as an everyday watch. It is water resistant to 50M which is much better than the 30M of other Casio watches under £30.
Rocked an A700 for a couple of weeks, gave it away to a friend because she likes how thin that one is and my A168 should be coming in today. Thanks for your video!
Totally agree this is casios one watch collection has everything you need like the F91-W with added better EL light.... Mind you i have lots a vintage casios lol fav being the A700 for me ...But what an iconic piece this is... Great review of a ONE WATCH COLLECTION !!!
A friend of mine wears this one and he does actual cowboy stuff-horses, roping cows, herding stuff, ranching., as well as Field and Stream level outdoorsy stuff. Can't go wrong then... Yee Haw!

I have about a dozen watches, including a couple that are pretty pricey, and still my $21 A168 gets a surprising amount of wrist time. It's a great watch. Retro fun notwithstanding, it's just a straight-up good looking one too. AND it's a Hollywood watch! James Bond has the Omega, but Wonder Woman has the A168 (Steve Trevor gives her one in WW84). Good enough for Wonder Woman? Good enough for me.
I ordered an A168 and an MTGM900, they get here tomorrow! I’ve been using my GW-S5000U but I work outdoors and the small scuffs the carbon fiber strap were hurting me, so I needed an everyday beater, which is what the MTGM900 will be. I’m excited!
Classic watch, but I feel like “the only watch you need” would have a countdown timer. In fact it absolutely blows my mind how many digital watches don’t.
I agree that adding a countdown time would be a welcome addition to this watch. However, it is a minor quibble for me. To me, this watch is basically perfect. It does everything that I need a watch to do.
They keep telling me that this is a hipster's watch!! Hell, when I was first wearing it, nobody knew what a "hipster" is! 😂😂😂 I just re-bought it today and it brings back wonderful memories. It is a piece of horological history, just like other iconic Casio models: F91W, CA53W (the calculator watch) or 5600 series. Excellent video, as well!
I have an A168 in my collection. I agree, it's a simple but elegant and functional watch. Even James Bond could wear this watch. I think, it just looks a bit small on a large wrist.
I need minimum 3 alarms and individual reminders (Timex Ironman Classic) This is no longer suitable for me but i have more than one Casio A168 in my collection :). A168 is a legendary watch. Good ones are Casio DB360, SPS300, F201, W734

I have the A168WE, which has a gorgeous oxblood face and plaid band. My first Casio! And now I have five Casios, LOL

Yep! Do have to be careful with surfaces as the paint on the plastic will chip away.
