@@eryx7494 These are Nexus exclusive settings. You can however tweak the analog stick calibration when switching the stick mode from "native" to "custom" in your Matrix config. This only applies to the aim stick though, not the movement stick (= Sony Nav).

Hey, that config is still up to date. The game has received no aim mechanic changes since then. The only thing that can now be added is the new XIM Matrix Synchronization feature. Former XIM Apex players will prefer values of 0-0-0 to 6-0-0 there. But that single change doesnt warrant a complete video rework yet, plus it only applies to people who prefer the way XIM Apex felt in OW2. As for the AA aspect, i recommend to use 0-0-0 and not use any of the AA boosters from the video then. That way you have the closest PC feeling. Anything else remains as it is from the video, including the ingame AA settings.

Hey, yes the Nintendo joy cons also work with Matrix. The setup steps are identical to XIM Apex in that recard. From the top of my head, connect it wired first, press the pair button, and remove the cable.

Hi Xim, I just bought a new xim matrix. Everything is working except the audio part. With my old xim apex i used to plug the headphones inside the controller and connect it to the xim. It worked there. But when i tried to do the same with the matrix the audio just doesn’t work. It isn’t an headphones problem because when the Xim is unplugged they work with the only controller. But when i plug all together with the xim the ps4 doesnt recognise it on the audio setting… why is this?
Hey, if you are on Playstation plug a PS5 controller to port 3 of your Matrix. To that one you connect the headset. On PS5 you will also have to select "XIM Matrix" as the audio source. By default it will be "Remote Play" which means your Matrix doesnt get any audio from the console.

Hey, on XIM Matrix please skip to the part where the stick is configured. That is possible with Matrix as well. Third party controllers cannot be calibrated as XIM products cannot access the internal structure of third party controllers. With Nexus this is possible however since its a XIM controller.

@@lagunamusic7686 Hey, please follow the required ingame settings from the XIM website to have aim assist again. As for the headset it will work in the same fashion with the XIM as without it. About the ingame issues, somewhere in your config you have bound those actions to look down. Probably in the radial role assignments. Id say press that button and hold it, then go through all your bindings and advanced bindings. Somewhere there should be the cause for why you look down.

See my "XIM Nexus Best Rapid Fire Setup" video on how to do it. You basically have a switch = your weapon switch button that activates and deactivates the rapid fire based on what weapon you have equipped. The setup is the same for Matrix.
They are currently being tested on Matrix. Results so far are very positive. The tester group will put in a bit more time and if everything works out well it can be ported to Nexus as well! In the meantime it can help a lot to add some smoothing to your gyro micro movements by using custom smoothing.

Matrix doesnt have direct access to the controller data as Nexus has. What you can do however is the following: In the first config screen add your left stick as an aim source and remove the right stick. Adjust the values as shown in the video now. Then switch them again so that the right stick is the aiming source again.
Can I mess around with these and get rid of mousetrap on r6 or is this completely different. I’m still having issues being mousetraped with the nexus on r6
Hey, until Nexus receives the SAB update the gyro may get you trapped. You could use Smoothing to help with the issue, but overall SAB is what you probably must wait for. Its currently being tested through Matrix by gyro users with good results so far!
@@Ali_99_Mohammed If the PS5 encryption keys ever become public knowledge then yeah, this is possible. Until then you can use compatibility devices such as the Besavior U5 to use your XIM via USB with PS5 games. See my dedicated Besavior U5 video for more details on that.

Hey, you could order a new one from the XIM Store if you want to, or have it repaired. On Xbox and PSN the adapter is required, on PC you dont need it to play with Nexus.

@@XIMCentral I have a different question. I just use the matrix to play games with my nexus but I use my nexus Manager instead of the Matrix Manager. For some reason my nexus manager always says I’m playing wirelessly even when I have my xim nexus plugged via matrix hub . How do I get it recognize that nexus plugged in by usb ? Do I have to go on my ps5 settings and enable usb connection ?
This is something that is being discussed and may come with a future firmware! It would only be through a wired connection though as real 1000Hz over wireless would be too taxing on the battery (which is why almost all console controllers poll 125-250Hz when in wireless mode).

Hey, update your Matrix to the new XIM Beta Firmware and follow the SAB Guide from the XIM Game Settings topic. After that you wont have issues in any game anymore.

@@JustOxzY Yes please set the Y Scale to 1,00 again to have a normal behavior. If the issue persists and you cannot find the cause just delete the config and create a new one for the game, then everything should work as intended again.

Hello, my besavior works perfectly with my xim apex, but with my matrix it is impossible to connect it. It recognizes the keys well, but that's it. With the ethernet cable it works. An idea ? @@atchoumefr The Nav Mode deactivates your mouse and is active by default. When starting your Matrix you must deactivate it, or completely turn it off via the global settings. See the XIM Instructional Videos on the XIM website for more details.

@@ptskriptts5025 The Hori Mini only works in older PS5 games such as CoD CW. Newer games dont work with that controller anymore.

Tap actions just got added to Matrix to gauche the interest. If its a well liked feature then yeah, it can also be added to Nexus! ;)

I keep running into a problem with my xim matrix. My movement keys get stuck.
Does this only happen when you press a lot of keys at the same time or does it also happen if you only press 1 key?

@@XIMCentral I have a different question. I just use the matrix to play games with my nexus but I use my nexus Manager instead of the Matrix Manager. For some reason my nexus manager always says I’m playing wirelessly even when I have my xim nexus plugged via matrix hub . How do I get it recognize that nexus plugged in by usb ? Do I have to go on my ps5 settings and enable usb connection ?

This is something that is being discussed and may come with a future firmware! It would only be through a wired connection though as real 1000Hz over wireless would be too taxing on the battery (which is why almost all console controllers poll 125-250Hz when in wireless mode).
what happens if i ordered my xim matrix on saturday ( yesterday) will it still get shipped Monday or Tuesday?
If you buy it from the XIM Store then yes, itll start shipping on Monday.

@@rmjoeyfly457 That wouldnt work sadly, for now the XIM Flashtool can only be used via PC or Mac to update your XIM firmware :(.

Hey, update your Matrix to the new XIM Beta Firmware and follow the SAB Guide from the XIM Game Settings topic. After that you wont have issues in any game anymore.

@@JustOxzY Yes please set the Y Scale to 1,00 again to have a normal behavior. If the issue persists and you cannot find the cause just delete the config and create a new one for the game, then everything should work as intended again.

For some games yes, thats fine! This only works if the Xbox and PSN aim mechanic are very close to each other, which could be the case for OW2! :)

Hello, my besavior works perfectly with my xim apex, but with my matrix it is impossible to connect it. It recognizes the keys well, but that's it. With the ethernet cable it works. An idea ? Maybe I missed a setting in the manager?

Hey, you must set your Matrix into USB mode (Connections) and then plug a PS4 controller to port 3 of your Matrix.

@@atchoumefr The Nav Mode deactivates your mouse and is active by default. When starting your Matrix you must deactivate it, or completely turn it off via the global settings. See the XIM Instructional Videos on the XIM website for more details.
