Join me on as we tackle hurdles and chase perfection in our ongoing 1968 Ford F350 body swap journey on a Lincoln Town Car chassis. After realizing a significant oversight from our previous episode, this video zeroes in on rebuilding the rear fender panel from the ground up. Watch as I meticulously sand down the service truck bed to its bare essence, apply a protective layer of epoxy primer, and confront the challenge of rusty, worn-out patches. Witness the transformation as I cut out and replace decayed sections with pristine metal, breathing new life into this classic. Your feedback and support mean the world, so don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!

I AM GIVING THIS TRUCK AWAY:

I was really hoping you weren’t going to paint it but looking forward to how awesome you’re going to make this look. Also pretty glad you binned off the rear fender changes you did last video.
I 100% appreciate a natural patina look. However this truck was just an old worn down paint job. It did not have that raw patina look that everyone’s after. Patina is good. Bad quality failed paint jobs of the past, no good.
I didn't think you would, very happy you're are. I started watching for the paint knowledge.
Bruh, there are no words. Looking to adopt? 56 year old with work attitude and conviction.
I really like the look of the new arch! That extra work really paid off!
Tell your dad he is awesome for always helping !
The rear fender and arch look sooooo much better now. Nice work!
Going back to the drawing board was the ticket.....the thumbnail pic super...💯🙂👍🙏
Looks 100Xs better with the wheel arches centered 👍👍
How is this man only have 105k followers? I’ve been here since less than 5k…. Adam, you are THE most underrated TH-camr ever!!! True goat dude
I appreciate that!
Truth! Everything you touch turns out beautifully. Ive learned so much watching your videos! Appreciate you man
Holy 💩, man! Those rear fenders look awesome!
Wheel wells look much better! Glad you redesigned them!!
I honestly like the rugged/used/dilapidated rat rod patina look
Great work on reshaping that rear-wheel cover. The new look is better than the original and way better than trying to piece it together like your first attempts. Love to see you iterating and coming to something that looks amazing.
Wicked looking project, but that heavy af bed......I bet that Town Car chassis is screaming for relief, lol
The back wheelartch looking good! Please do a vintage paint style on it, whether bitten one, like you found the truck in the dessert... Good job!
Totally agree with this, think it would complement the truck best!
New arches are freaking fantastic bro, great work! Can't wait for the next video.
Was surprised at first that you wanted to keep the rough and dirty look, given that you run a paint shop. So happy that your still keeping the “work truck” look, but cleaning it up a little. Only suggestion is to get chrome or polished grille and front bumper to give it the pop I think your going to want! ✌️
Those rear fender skirts? Look great for real. Much much better!! Love the way this thing is turning out man.
I like these wheel wells way better.
It’s funny watching the internal battle to not make the truck perfect…. There’s a fine line between “good enough for an old work truck” and fixating on those couple dents you wished you would’ve fixed!! OCD for the win!!
I don't blame you for not going all out on paint especially if you're gonna actually use it as a work truck. Those wheel arches look a lot better now btw. Great work man.
You should do some lights in the cargo boxes that turn on when you open the doors it would be really cool. Also I really think this truck needs some chrome on it. I actually really like that gray on the truck you should do some sort of gray on it. Plus that new arch looks sweet
It's a WORKtruck, so you don't want to have a PERFECT body and paint. You want to use this truck for what it is meant for, it's not a SHOWpiece. So I totally get your choice in how you want this truck to look. Great progress again, as always. Awesome work!
New rear fenders look great!
Huge fan of the latest wheel arch
Rear fender looks proper now 😁👍
Yea the back fender looks fire you are talented my friend ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥 Definitely a good call on re-doing the rear fenders. Can't wait to see the color scheme!
Pops always steady 100 percent!
Good call on the wheel well.cant wait for the paint job
It looks great now, Adam. Nice progress! Thanks for sharing, Regards Nico.
Good job brother, cant wait to see how the inside of the bed gets done.
Props. You handled that mistake with class
Thank you sir
Rear fenders go hard!!!!❤❤❤
Can’t wait to see what you do with the bed floor/lighting 👌🏽👌🏽
Yes! That’ll be the final phase of the build
Nice! The bed finally very nice looking…i would have kept all that patinas… coming great!
You should do the bed floor in old street signs on the truck 😊
Can't wait to see the paint plan
The man with the Skills to pay the Bills🤘
Yes,good job on the box fenders..
Looking good Adam and I think you are going in the right direction with the body work by getting rid of the rust and maybe some of the major dents and that's it as it will then look like a well looked after working truck but not a show vehicle that only goes to shows👌👍John UK
Loving the new rear fenders! Congrats mate! Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹
I love the fact it looks like you could put in a pair of 15" subs. And lots of dynamat.
Your videos deserve more views!
Your good at what you do. It’s a good idea to not make it perfect. It’s a work truck. Not a show truck
Im glad im not the only one that uses a foldsble table as a welding table lol
Cant wait for the paint 😮
The rear arches look great. Can't wait to see the finished paint job!
She look good with them wheels
Might want to look into strengthening the frame, got a lot of flex near the bed and cab and good road with several holes in it will have that box bouncing into the cab for sure!
Sometimes knowing how to do something properly has the advantage that you know how to do something improperly,,,, properly lol
Looking good. keep up the great work I love your attention to detail.
one thing you can do when seam welding sheet metal like that to avoid warping is cool down your weld with your blow gun and air compressor
This project is very cool
think doing the truck in a egg gloss paint would be nice
it would still gives it a slightly worn look and hides some of the inperfections
maibe do some handpainted lettering on the doors and some pinstriping on the hood and roof , could do a logo on the hood as well (the shirtlogo would look nice )
it would probably be a good idea to male wood stats over the tops of the servicetruck boxes or cover them with daimondplate as there just about the right height for people to rest their elbows on or even sit down on top of when standing inside the bed , makes it eazier to actually have people ride along in the back of the truck , the covering again saves you having to do some of the straightening of the service bed and will alow you to load up sheets of plywood over the top
i agree those wheelarches look a lot better
It’s looking awesome 😎
You amd puddin fab shop would make a dope build.
You should get some canadian -market mercury truck badges for this
Looking good 👍👍
😏👌🏽 damn bro you knocked it out the park with this one the new look of the arch is sharp and seeing the bed in one whole color its like imagine the whole truck 😌🤙🏼 loving the progress adam #bodesqaud #projectshoptruck
Looking good, I’m Glad you redid the rear arches . Can’t wait to see this painted
Could throw some grip tape on top of the back bumper since you skate! Would look great and be functional! Suck laying it down and cutting out the holes though 😂
Glad you fixed those rear wheel openings. Looking good now!
Awesome job on the rear fenders, and so happy you are painting it, I was honestly thinking you was going to leave the patina look
Idk but I just hope u do like satin/flat black. Or some type of green. Would look so mean. 🔥
Looks good
Bro I'm loving this content
Maybe a little second step would be cool looking maybe…? Two separate mini steps with a nice handle on top of boxes! Just a suggestion.
Can't wait to see what it's going to look like. I'm happy you are repainting that thing :)
great content great project
rear arches look great. you should faux patina the truck.
It does look better stock fenders. Slambox lookin spiffy!
If you didn’t modify it the first time then you’ll have never known. The remade panel looks way better.
Rear fenders look great
Made a good choice on the rear wheel arch, looks factory now 👍👍
Awesome
10:59 L👀KING GOOD
I still think you need to tie the bed to the cab. That car frame was not designed to hold that much weight without the body helping to tie it together. Just my two cents. Keep up the fantastic work.
Im got some hope with a rusty type paint job. It looking very nice.
Love the work you do man I would love to learn how to weld… overall looks super nice sometimes that’s just the way it goes… awesome awesome work…
It's coming along nicely...looking fresh to death....👍
Awesome as always now you got me wondering if u gonna do a foe patina look ❤
Adam, I hope you do something similar to what you did with The ranchero to this truck.
It’ll be better, I promise
I fuckin love patina fab trucks.
But I think having the mindset you had with Taylor Ray's Drift car is best hear. Nice paint work that you're aware will get beat up so it's not supposed to be perfect.
👍👍from this guy
That’s look way better
Cool angle on the rear fenders now
Flat green patina miletary:)
Hey man I’m loving this build series and can’t wait to see how it turns out. I’m a bit concerned about the chassis though when you drag it off the concrete slab onto your grass the whole rig flexes.? I’m sure there’s plenty of time to address this and also the old stop light holes which are at the front of the box section. Keep up the good work 👍
Yes, once the box comes back off I’ll reinforce the frame and strengthen everything a bit more
I think the old taillight holes at the front are just begging for some clear lens amber watermelon marker lights, lol. Could even wire them in for marker & turn signals.
I say full resto!
🔥🔥🔥
I think the doors on your box are backwards. I'm pretty sure they're supposed to swing towards the cab so if they come open going down the road they don't catch wind and fold backwards.
She’ll be fine
Maybe paint it with a Matt or satin finish just to hide the imperfections?
I can’t believe you got rid of the patina
This wasn’t patina. This was an old failed paint job. Stick around to see if you like it when it’s done
Just some thoughts...bedliner full work box either that grey or white? White gloss roof with lace and gloss white grill and front bumper.🤷♂️👍
The rear fenders hit ths spot now.
Wheel wells look alot better
Awesome video! Glad to see the new fenders haha. Do the rear fenders still lift up? And I can’t wait for the paint!!
Yes they do
The sad thing about the new fenders is that if you'd have thought about making new ones before reversing the sides, you wouldn't have to worry about 4 suicide doors. There's enough room ahead of the current fender arch for the larger boxes that are now in the back.
You should make sure you have working locks on all of those doors. Not because you might forget to latch one tightly, but because there are douchebags out there that might loosen them.
I was gonna comment last video but didn't want to be negative
I would have welcomed it. I’m all good with respectful feedback. Good or bad.
