- In this exciting episode of BodeVision, we make significant progress on our one-of-a-kind El Camino and Honda CR-V body swap project! We start by finalizing the e-brake cable, fabricating a custom handle to work with the extended floor. Then, we bid farewell to the V8 swapped Honda Accord as it heads off to the winner. Finally, we tackle the challenging task of mounting the El Camino front end onto the Honda CR-V engine bay. This involves a lot of custom fabrication, including building a custom tube structure to support the front end. Join us for another action-packed build update!

ditch the stock hood hinge and go for a hood strut set up, clear up a ton of space, love the build

@@ItsDaJax here in southern Alabama we have high humidity that stacks on that heat and I've come close to dying in it twice so if the a.c works I'm using it.
@@M.Boatwright I live in Kentucky, I'm familiar. Summers average about 90-95° without the heat index.

If you have to extend the drive shaft, you should get a Freelander drive shaft with a viscous coupler and pin the rear diff while you're at it. Especially if you plan on boosting it.

Fiberglass (or carbonfiber) hood & ditch the hood springs.
just paint on the rust, so it matches.

What are you planning for the fact the dashboard sits so much closer to the front, and looks as if the steering wheel does too which in turn the seats gotta be closer to No ? I felt like the inside while you was sitting was huge in overall length. What’s the plans

Adam I think you do nice work , one thing I learned the hard way. when you have to fill your welding bottle ask your suppler what it would cost for the next size bottle up I know have all big bottles and they last a lot longer and if it was 70$ to fill the small bottle its like 90 $ to fill the big bottles( thats just and example )
All thst room under the hood.... screw the K..... i say go J! Still room for turbo(s) or supercharger.

I'd have combined both radiator supports, like; -\__/-, kinda. Also a/c is for the weak.

Looks like the rear wheel have WAY too much camber.
The rear is as low as the coilovers will set and i need to get a camber kit to pull camber. Once I get wheels I’ll worry about final fitment

For as old as this channel is you should have way way more views. I just realized - maintenance is going to be goofy, given you'll need complete sets of both metric and SAE tools.
If you work on stuff, why wouldn’t you already have both anyway? Lots of equipment and vehicles come with both metric and SAE from the factory.
