    Thanks for the upload. These are beautiful, think I’ve found my next set of speakers.

    I have already purchased the ES35 slim center channel and four ES10 bookshelf speakers for my rear suround and middle hieght Atmos speakers. I have a 150 watt 10" pinoeer down firing ported sub woofer I intend to keep for now (maybe upgrade to 2 Polk HTS 10 sub woofers down the raod).
    I am thinking of going with ES55 or ES60 floor standing speakers for my front left and right channels although these ES50's sound pretty impressive too! Are you running any other speakers in this video or everything though the polks?
    Beautiful setup by the way!!!

      @@GreysAudioRoomsorry forgot to ask what wattage your DAC/amp setup is pushing to these. I have an okay'ish Denon 7.2 AVR and don't want to buy the big ES60's and end up under powering them.....the towers are my last upgrade to choose and it's giving me the most stress 😂 They're primarily for home theater and Xbox playing by the way

      i have power amp 80 w per channel

      @@GreysAudioRoomthank you so much for the replies! My Denon is a 75 watt per channel so I think I might settle on the ES55's. I wanna go big but again don't want to be stuck under powering the ES60's and all 6 of their 6.5" drivers (they're rated up to 300 watts!)

    Beautiful sound. Are you still using these or have you find a replacement? I know these are hard to beat, very nice open sound. Clear with excellent separation and layering.
    I cannot really hear the box with these speakers, and I love that about these.

      Polks mostly a good choice, but my main speakers are Monitor Audio GS20, they are really hard to beat, after all speakers i’ve heard, they sound really as a reference

      @@GreysAudioRoom Ok thank you, I’ll have a look at the Monitor Audio speakers. I’ve had a few UK brands in the past, mostly Tannoys and a pair of ProAcs that have all been sold now due to change in circumstances and now I’m on the hunt for a new pair of speakers.

    What gauge are those speaker wires? You could probably power your whole house with them 😂

    What audio equipment do you have connected them to? Do you have a dac hi-res? Are they amplified or did you just connect them to an avr?

    • @GreysAudioRoom
      @GreysAudioRoom  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      onkyo tx-nr929 as dac/pre + power amp custom cyrus clone
