Amazing job at capturing the sonic signature of these. I wouldn't think possible on TH-cam . Absolutely Stellar. Post claiming no bass? Seriously ? Color me impressed
All system has its strength and weakness.. overall mid dynamics are great. . Keypoint range is from 100 to 300-400. Dynamic range and clarity is heavy to reproduce here. Becaue in that range most cabinet speaker are weak . The driver is new an a little harsch . After 2 3 400 hours it will get much better.
2x15 producing up to 400hz is not the best thing . But if you have a contrabass its just amazing and big .. but you cannot listen to led zeppeling with my open baffle horn. ...
The jabo kh72 horn goes from 300hz 110 db flat to 20000hz this is just impressive and needs to push down to 100 for the eckhorn which goes fro. Fs to 300hz which is not optimal .. maximum 120hz. Is better.
Hi, I know these drivers and hearing with the Lii Audio Crystal 8 in Open Baffle. I'm impressed each day. One question : where can I get the sound panels in the rear ? DIY or purchased ? Do you have a link for me ? BTW : My playlist is nearly the same as yours Moin Michael, das Setup kam mir doch irgendwie bekannt vor ! Wir hatten bereits Kontakt. Grüße nach Passau Ulrich

Wonderful equipment there, sure puts my HiFi which cost 4.5K to shame, but I also don't have that type of wife, she thinks my hobbies are a waste of money otherwise I would buy better and better every year !

@@hifiplayground hi again What is amazing is the immediacy of the sound So live that is exciting They say that the cone material is the real secret Personally i was thinking to a smaller 8 or even 6" fullrange above a bass box with a 10 or 12" paper woofer to provide more scale and free the full range to reproduce the lowest bass The sound should be even more clean Using the full range from 200Hz up lets say What do you think ?

@@gino3286 a cabinet would destroy the imaging and all the bass texture. A cabinet would colorate the bass and upperbass. In the baffle the bass is just airy soft warm natural and real. Thank you. I upgraded the baffle with a supertweeter and a OB woofer . Which will impress you even more ! Coming soon
I have a pair of a similar speaker coming. Your recording of a reproduction system sounds great!
Can‘t wait to see the Video with the W15s included. What would you say is the biggest difference in comparison to the previous horns you had?
