I didn't notice it when i watched the finale for the first time, but they mind wiped Josephine's bodyguard Jade, that couldn't protect Rose and basically failed at every task the Primes ordered her to fulfill. She and another female guard became the thing they were supposed to protect: A vessel for the primes. That's really dark and ironic at the same time.
When i saw the ending when octavia turned into green mist i was like 'wtf, now they just making weird arcs up... man what happened to this show'... but actually if you watch season 7, it all makes sense, and a lot of unanswered questions you had from all 6 seasons will be explained...

i hate that tv trope where they point guns at a hostage and people put their guns down. that is the stupidest thing ever. nobody would really do that. now they can shoot the hostage or you. they can't if you have guns pointed at them. nobody likes mutual assured destruction but it has kept the world safe from nuclear war for 70 years
