Gojira is one of my favorite metal bands for sure. I dont pick favorites in a number system. I just have bands that i feel are very original and also badass. And Gojira is both of those things and more.
As much as I love Koloss, and as excited as I am for Storm Corrosion, and as giddy as the entire metal community is about a new Tool album, I think this is gonna be the best thing in 2012.

Well, lots of times vocal lines are tracked more than once in the studio, just to sound bigger. But you're right, Joe's screams sound massive without even doubling...

0:44- 0:47 and 0:55- 0:58 is the song "Liquid Fire", 3:19- 3:21( Where Mario headbangs!) is part of "L'Enfant Sauvage", and 5:31 to 5:52 is of course the outro of L'Enfant Sauvage..Man I think im going insane..22 more days..This is going to be the best album ever..Travelling all the way from India to watch you guys at Graspop this month..Oh yes..cant wait..:D

Saw Meshuggah in Houston a couple days ago. It was the best performance I've ever seen live. I can't wait until Gojira's new album comes out and they go on tour here in the US. My two favorite bands by far.
these guys have only been present in the latter 20% of my metal journey through life, but nobody has been more influential to me as far as percussion and attitude and stage presence. Best all around metal band. Ever.

Part of the best music year for me so far. First AAL, then Meshuggah, then Gojira times two, then Rush and maybe even Tool are putting out new material. Very cool and I love Gojira's artsy approach to death metal and studio reports. Lovin' it hard.
