I just turned 55. As a young teenager, I saw Judas Priest in Spokane in 1985 on their Turbo tour. Now, nearly 40 years and numerous concerts later, i can safely say that Judas Priest was the best show I've had the privilege of seeing live. Oh.....if i could only turn back the clock.
Dave Murray & Adrian Smith might have something to say bout that. Not saying Glen & KK aren't deserving of the status of rock gods, priest is one of my favorite bands, I've seen them a bunch of times. Just saying they got peers. BTW my all time favorite double guitar harmony is Don Felder & Joe Walsh / hotel California
I was there a the Roxy in Amsterdam when they done this video. After they recorded the video they gave a great free gig of one hour. And we left with a signed copy of priest live. Great trip down memory lane
I am fortunate enough to have seen the mighty Judas Priest live with Glenn Tipton (K.K. Downing had just quit a few months prior, alas...) and all you who have not, believe me: they are this intense live. I saw 18 to 20some kids dancing and having the time of their lives to song they may have been hearing for the first time ever. Yes, this band is that good. And this cover simply rules - just like all their other covers. Don't forget: when Judas Priest covers a song it becomes a Judas Priest song from there on.

There's one thing about Chuck Berry's music: rather like Mozart's, it is deceptivly simple in appearence being in fact highly complex. None but great musicians are able to make it their own whitout either copy-pasting or ruining it.

R.I.P. Chuck Berry, great cover.
I wonder what Chuck Berry would have thought of this version. I prefer this version to his.
Чак Бери икона рока, но он в подмётки Хелфорду не годится

I would love for Judas Priest to release an entire album of their favourite non-JP songs in their JP signature style.
so a cover album?
Loved both versions: original and Judas' cover. Great job here in covering such a classic in a complete new way.
There's only one version....the cover version. The Original is not a version it's the fucking original and I love both. JP did justice to the great Chuck Berry.
I love how she guitars mesh together so perfectly! 😀👍
This song will always kick ass for me. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Best cover, ever.
I didn’t know JP covered Johnny B Goode, but I know now!!🤘👊
When I listen this song for the first time, at 17 years old, I went crazy. There I was, in my living room, doing air guitar and the speakers about to explode
That day I made something nobody did before: to make all the neighbors came to my house (but not for a party!)
Amazing!! One of the most COVER SONGS ever, By Chuck Berry. And this song is traveling in space on the Golden Disc carry by the Voyager spacecraft launch in ‘77!
The Original Chuck Berry version is on the disc.
Not the JP version (which came out a long time after Voyager launched).
Exactly.
Heavy metal rules above all music. Holy life for the gods.
Metal for life for Metal is life
This is way better than E.P.'S version even though his was great you blew him away. I'm glad I grew up when Rock was still alive. R.I.P. Rock and Roll we will just look to the past to remember you!
The best cover ever form a classic...PERIOD!!!
The true and only Judas Priest.
Best cover ever🤘🤘🤘🤘
