Perfect! I have a 2022 Tucson. I'd tried to follow someone else's video for 2004-2023 Hyundai Tucson, but it just didn't match. I searched again, found yours, and it was perfect; absolutely perfect! My almost 77 years-young (female!) fingers/arms almost couldn't manage the clip and squeezing the glove box sides in, but where there's a will there's a way, and I did it! So proud! Happy to have saved a bunch of money! Thank you!
My 2021 Hyundai was even easier to change out! Dealership wanted to charge $100!!! I was like hell no! Picked up a filter and watched this video and was done before the video ended. Thanks!
The pins that limit the swing movement of the glove compartment are not “hinges”. The hinge is the pivot mechanism that stays put when the compartment drops down after the stops are released.
I'm still trying to figure out how to get cat hair off the carpet and the rear cargo area floor covering. Vacuuming doesn't work. The cats did not roam free in there - they were in a cage - but their fur still ends up everywhere, not to mention some of it carried into the car on my clothes. I am thinking of using my carpet shampoo machine, but I don't have access to an outdoor electric plug to power it.
@@Steeeve_ Ohhhh.... you mean the inside of the blower motor case where the filter slides into! The best I could think of is use a regular vacuum cleaner with the narrow crevice tool although it might not reach the very back.
Isn't it funny that everyone says the cabin air filter is behind the glove box but if you ask them where the engine is, it's in front of the glove box. The support rod is a damper. The hinges are at the bottom edge of the glove box.
No, the Tucson was redesigned for 22. I did a video on the 2017 Tucson and I think it should be the same as that, as I think they have the same dashboard from '16-'21 except for the floating radio part.
Was fairly easy, took longer to empty the glove compartment and then figure out how to get the door back on because it wasn't lined up properly..thanks
I bought a 4-layer filter from Amazon for $12.97, which is better than the ones used by Hyundai and Kia. The dealer wanted to charge $115 plus tax, so I decided not to go that route. I saved a lot of money, and it took less than a minute to replace it myself.
I have noticed too that the price of OEM filters has gone up significantly. The dealers want about $50 for it thru the parts dept, and online OEM expect to pay around $35 plus an amount for shipping. Its ridiculous. I bought a multi layer one at Wal-mart, I think its a Fram brand, for $19.95. It says it captures as good as an N95 mask.
Straight forward video with instructions so easy that even a caveman could do it!

Thanks for the video, it is easy and cheaper to buy and do it myself then being charged $89 for new filter.
Thank you for posting this video. You made this job very easy to complete 😂
Great video. Helped a lot when I went to install. Clear, good camera angles and simple instructions. Thanks.
The dealership I purchased mine from wanted $110 to replace this. I laughed in their face!!!
thanks! super clear video.
Great stuff, very helpful!
Perfect tutorial, thank you!
Thank you... I'll do mine next time. Thanks for your videos 📹.
Thanks a lot.Mine was really dirty
Hey man cool video! Where did you find the filter so I can buy it online and do it myself, thanks in advanced!
I used this site: hyundai.oempartsonline.com/
@@bml33 thank you!
Ive been seeing some posts discussing whether an arrow is for orientation of the fliter rather than airflow, if it doesnt say airflow.
Very helpful instructions!
Wonderful presentation. Clear and concise. Thank you!
Super healpful, thanks!
Good instruction!
Thanks for the video. Just watched this after my Hyundai service center charged me $60 in labor to replace mine 😂
They wanted to charge my wife $84 , I paid 15.99 plus 8.99 for shipping 😅

Do you have any tips for vacuuming/cleaning the inside?

@@bml33 I'm referring the the blower motor in case my question sounds out of place.

genius man thanks for this video. how often you change this filter?
I go with once a year or 15k miles.

Will this be the same for a 2021 tuscon?

Is it the same for a 2020 model ??
No. I did a video on the cabin filter for my 2017 Tucson and the 20 has the same instrument panel, so that one should be the same.
The plastic pin on the right is really hard to squeeze 😢
Yeah, I noticed that too. You do have to use force but carefully because you don't want to break it off.

they ask 90 bucks at Hyundai dealer in PA for part and labor
Is that Mobis Filter what Hyundai gave ?
Yes I do believe the Hyundai filters are made by Mobis.
Mobis is hyundai ... they do make parts for hyundau
Hyundayi service center asked for 120 dollars for changing that.
In amazon i got it for 15 dollars.
Wow. That's a lot. Seems a bit excessive even for a dealer.
Dealership was quoting me 135$. I declined. I watched your video and will do it myself
Good man
Thank you!!!!
Thanks for saving me $60.
amazing work, thank you very much 👏👏👏👏👏
Cabin air filter replacement is the biggest dealership scam
