Awesome, I'm glad to hear your thoughts, because Ive never heard anyone else talk about the scene in the shop with Vlad. That also made me like him more. It really stood out as a good scene! :D But... I still got him killed. O__O Just an explaination of why I did that: Besides wanting to win the Termitary Kin's approval, I did it because I think the only okay time to kill someone is if they keep deeply hurting other people, and you can't get them to stop, and they dont want to stop. Vlad had power over the Kin, yet he used them, he didnt give them workers rights or any respect for many many years. He had them live in a big slaughterhouse lol. He showed the opposite of regret as far as I can remember. And there is literally no oppertunity to change him or disempower him in the game. Though I believe Isidor's motives to break the town so it can regrow stronger is wrong, I guess I followed that path when I killed Vlad. I didn't want cruel leaders to exist in my Town's future, so I severed that part of the Olgimsky line. (plus its just a video game so its an easy decision, im not actually killing a man lol.) (plus his remaining family kinda disliked him LOL.)
One thing I found interesting from his conversation in the shop is that when he asks Burakh if he's ever been married one of the answers is "I used to". I have to assume that response is canon, since otherwise it wouldn't have appeared as an option, unless it's referring to the player rather than the character. I wonder what's the story there, since there are no other references to the haruspex having been married as far as I've seen, and due to the fact that he's not even yet obtained his medical licence I doubt he's older than 26, so he would've married very young.
There are lots of such things. The canon of this game is.. well.. not fully existing. For example, in that dialogue you can also choose that you haven't been married. Isn't it just as viable as another option ? Also in one dialogue you have options to say that you have either been to war as a field medic, or never been. I think we just have to accept that past of Burakh has not been written through
I'm really fascinated by this piece of music. It has almost eldritch horror aspect in it. Feels like dark abyss silently looking into your soul.
I actually quite like Vlad despite his flaws.
Excellent! Proves that every character is likeable, even if a lot of people I know don't like him at all - both positions are wholly valid.
@@HorrorGameAnalysis Can't really think of any character I absolutely resent except the changeling.
@@blackadder5346 Not even Mark? I really wish I could punch that guy.
@@ChuckPalomo he has a unique charm
@@blackadder5346 His smug aura mocks me.
Kid named Sand Pest
Is it just me or does he somewhat resemble an odongh?
I really like Big Vlad.

His namesakeness might not be coincidental

I think, this is a reference to the steppe bride who came to burakh and said that they were married
Aand Ann yep, i think nara encountering artemy made him think he used to have a wife and forgot

I could've sworn Vlad was so much more... Exaggerated? Like I swear his eyes were bigger, and uneven, almost cartoonishly so.
